Great live music, cocktails, atmosphere, and service. We love Isabella. Thank you, Chicago Prime.
The food was delicious. We had the Branzino and lamb chop and both were great recommendations from our server. He was friendly and very attentive.
We were hoping to find a new favorite steakhouse, but unfortunately we will have to keep looking. The food was very bland and presentation/plating was disappointing for this level of restaurant. We asked if the kids' Mac n cheese was house made or Kraft, and our server said, “not house made.” The kids' cheese pizza was really bad, the crust had a sour taste and the sauce was not good at all. My husband's filet trio was average at best and lacked seasoning. The peppercorn sauce was very good and had a nice kick to it. My pasta was very tasteless. The fries were surprisingly not house-cut. It wasn't all bad; the portions were very generous.
Chicago Prime Italian remain a gem out in Schaumburg. You get classic Italian steakhouse but very low key. We had the fried and grilled calamari as starters. Both great. Fried close to tempura like batter. If you never tried grilled squid or octopus I recommend going for it here. Dinner was spinach ravioli and the Berkshire pork chop. Beautiful presentation, although I forgot to snap pictures. The chop had glorious potatoes and the dish itself had nice heat. Banana peppers and greens in nice acidic sauce.
Always a wonderful experience and meal. Great food, beautiful environment, and the best staff!! Thanks for a great place to celebrate!'
The food was very good except the chicken in the Alfredo with Chicken was dry. It's very hard to cook chicken I tend to it to ensure it's cooked properly. For the price of this restaurant I would expect better tending to cooking the chicken. Maybe try the shrimp add on, more expensive but easier to cook. The noodles seamed home made the sauce tasty. That was my husband's dish, I had the veal piccata over vegetables. Very nicely done. Nice lemon caper sauce, crisp cooked veggies.
Always one of my favorite places to eat. Love Chicago Prime Italian .. Thanks - Keep up everything.
Ate outside with a party of 3 around 5:30pm. Nice set up on the patio and great weather made for a very enjoyable early dinner. We took advantage of the happy hour for 3 s and ordered the trio fillets as the single entree. Split a bottle of Chianti not on the happy hour drink menu. Came to over $80 per person...a little more than one would think. Server was great. All in all, very good experience. Would go back but woudn't go out of my way to do so.
Some entrees were good some not so good. My last experience here was delightful but this time the waiter was all business guess that's because the tip was included. So many restaurants to choose from this is a shame. Not worth the money.
I felt this place was a little pricy especiallyif you want a steak. My meal however was delicious. I got the lobster ravioli but sadly I am gluten free so I got the Gnocchi instead. It had pesto, goat cheese and a balsamic glaze and it was the best thing I put in my mouth our whole trip. I will day dream about for years to come. All the pastas can be made gf which is a real plus. My husband got the chicken piccata and didn't like it. It came with Roasted veggies and the chicken on top...no pasta. He said the chicken was dry I think the lack of pasta didn't help. There was some live music coming from what I assume is the bar area which was nice. The place feels very old school...dark wood and carpet. Overall I would obviously go back once a week if we lived closer just to get that meal again and again but I'd probably get it to go.

I had a company event from guess out of the country, I invited for dinner for 18 people. The food was great, but the server Oldy was disrespectful to myself and my boss. We were people from Latin America and Asia. This guy (server) talked down to my boss. Was embarrassing to me to be talked down. Then he charges 2 separate bills, he said he forgot to charge is. The tip was very large. Very unhappy with the services.
My biggest thing in resturant is services and food. I was disappointed.
