Cilantro Taco Grill - Schaumburg

Showed up at 8:45 doors closed , and drive though “sorry we are close”. Why?

They advertise $2 taco Tuesday but when I was charged, only one taco was $2. When I asked about it at the register the lady said the registers have two different prices from inside and drive through. She can't make adjustments on the price.

Decent food. Ordered steak salad and steak taco. The taco was way too small and the salad was good size. The taste was okay. Kind of like Chipotle but the sauces were different. Overall, it was at I expected.

Food is ok. Visited location in Rosemont a while back and thought the meat was great! Came to this location expecting the same. The meat was very gray - clearly not the same quality. It was also very bland.

The service was good. No complaints there.

I would only return for maybe a vegetarian option, but being from Chicago with a LOT of fantastic Mexican food option, I doubt I will return.

I may go back to the Rosemont location to check it out

Very simple and good location. I am familiar with the other cilantro locations but prefer this one due to the kind staff and overall layout of the restaurant.

I went today and purchased through the drive tru & ordered some steak tacos and a steak torta. Unfortunately once we got home and opened our food the steak was pale gray almost looked uncooked. I had to remove the steak from the tacos and cook it through on the stove lol. One of the tacos was for my toddler and did not want her to get sick from uncooked meat. Please cook your meat well since now a days everything is so expensive and coming home to your food uncooked in not pleasant.

Service was great. Food was fine, not the greatest Mexican food but not bad either. Their drinks are great though. Had the Jamaica and Horchata and was really great, might come back for the juices.

Horrible place I placed my order through Uber paid extra for sour cream and there was no sour cream at all. I called the place and a girl said it’s not her problem. It’s a problem between me and Uber. Don’t go there.
