This place is not what it used to be 4-5 years ago. It was clearly bought out by people who are rude and do not seem to know what electricity is, since it’s always dark inside. Customer service is anything but warm and welcoming. Extremely rude and cold. The bar stool seat is missing, inside is just a depressing vibe all together. Not to mention the doughnuts were TERRIBLE. Cookies are disappointing too. Nothing by dry and stale. The don’t care to keep up with anything in there and again, it’s extremely depressing because this place used to be soooo good!!! Plenty of other good spots to go to in the area besides this one.

I used to love this place 20 years ago. I came recently and just looking at the donuts the looked old. I got a dozen despite my best judgement. I said they must be better than that awful donut franchise from Boston but nope lately this place is worse. That is hard to do considering DD is all massproduced garbage

It appears this location was previously a Country Donuts and has since been sold. Unfortunately, the current name and font seem designed to create confusion.
The quality of the donuts was disappointing. They tasted stale, and we didn’t even finish the half dozen. The product does not come close to the quality associated with Country Donuts.
My concern is that someone trying County Donuts may believe they’ve visited Country Donuts and avoid the real one based on this experience—which would be unfortunate.
If you’re looking for excellent donuts, I strongly recommend Country Donuts in Elgin or Crystal Lake.
Please consider changing the name or signage to make the distinction clear for customers.

We continue to get our donuts here, haven't visited Dunkin since. We love the Old Fashioned with it's crispy outer layer. Each of the other flavors (so many to choose from) is excellent.
(Earlier review from 2022) We love this place well over Dunkin. Better prices, taste, selection and quality

First time and won't go back. The donuts were dry and the man working there Sunday was not even polite. No greeting when my daughter and i walked in. There were no other customers he just came over when he was ready. Wanted to treat my daughter to Sunday afternoon donuts but this man made donuts not fun and not worth it there. Should have went to dunkin it was that bad.
Great place to get donuts. Always come here and take out a dozen. Never disappoint. Open 24 hours.

My first time visiting this store was Monday afternoon, and I was served by a lovely lady. She was very nice and helpful. And the donuts were just SUPERB! Will definitely visit again, happy holidays!

Good donut but the owner always looks pissed. I experienced in multiple times. She didn't had patience for the kids to look at the option and make selection. She kept pushing us regardless we were the only customer in the whole store.

Not sure how this place is running and how come it has high reviews. The donuts are dry, the service is poor. The lady is arrogant to kids and always in some kind of rush.....went there with my nephews and she wouldn't give kids time to do a selection, there was no other customer in the place ...I wanted coffee and some other stuff but with the attitude issue i chose not to.
