Don’t know what’s worse…the food or the customer service. Our food was awful. The noodles were gelatinous. We called three times regarding a coupon and had no resolution other than being told that there was a coupon applied that we had no control over. It was our first and last visit to this establishment. Normally we have leftovers from a Chinese restaurant for two to three meals but we just threw everything away because nobody would even eat anything that was left.

No longer quick. No longer well priced. Food is just okay. And now the service is poor. This most recent order, when they forgot to deliver our rice, their idea to resolve the issue was for me to come get it. The best part: the girl who answers the phone initially told me it’s because rice was not listed on the receipt and I didn’t order rice…. Has she ordered from a Chinese restaurant before? Apparently rice isn’t complimentary…

GARBAGE! I had food delivered and it was over cooked chicken and WET rice and watery sweet and sour sauce. When I called after pleading my case and one manager asks another they come back and tell me theyll give me a refund if I come get it. Mind you I had this delivered and all I did was order food that should have been made correctly. The manager agreed that it should have been made correctly but said his hands are tied, when I asked to speak to the owner the manager said he doesn't think the owner would be happy if he left a note for him to contact me.!!! What owner wouldnt want to hear about how bad tghe food is being served.. Ive been ordering from here for years and will NEVER go back

Just ordered here for a family event. Fried rice seemed overcooked and smelled burnt. The sesame chicken was over breaded. The sauce was super thick, slimy and greasy.
Also forgot utensils for an order of 7. Never wrote a Google review before this but felt it warranted a negative review. Nobody ate much of their plates.
Sorely disappointed.

Please listen to other reviewers stating that this place has horrible customer service. I placed an order online, through door dash, like I normally do. 1st red flag was the fact that my order was taking exceptionally long to get here. It was stuck on the “preparing order” screen for over 30 mins, so I called the store. I was informed that the store delivers their own food so it should be arriving soon. Ok cool, I waiting about another 15 min and stepped outside and there was my order. No knock on the door and no doorbell ring, that was my second red flag. Last and finally, when I opened my order, one of the items I ordered was missing. So normally you would go back on the door dash app and report a missing item, which I tried but since this place delivers their own food THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE for all matters pertaining to your order. I called the store again trying to explain the issue and they just told me to contact DoorDash I said ok. I’ll try again. So I waited again, another 10mins and checked my app and it was still saying “preparing order” and contact the store for support. So I called the store AGAIN, a lady answered this time, I explained my issue again & she passed the phone off to a man. I explained myself once again, he told me to call door dash, didn’t even say sorry either , I explained to him again, very clearly that I can’t contact door dash regarding this & my screen still says preparing order. He proceeded to tell me to wait some more or call door dash, again !! I then stopped speaking so nicely and reiterated to him AGAIN, that door dash can’t do anything, FORTUNE HOUSE IS RESPONSIBLE!! Then he hung up. He never apologized, never offered to have my items re delivered or refunded. Just completely hung up. So I went on a “goose chase” to contact door dash over the phone. I finally got ahold of someone and during our conversation she confirmed with me that I was CORRECT and it’s up to the store to either re deliver or refund me. She placed me on hold to call Fortune house as they still have my order marked as preparing & she told me all he offered was a credit for me coming back next time. I’m sorry but I work hard as everyone does for their money and won’t be spending it somewhere where the merchant doesn’t respect their customers, especially when the issue was their fault !!! Not mine. Here we are over an hour later my order still says being prepared, I’m still missing my items, the restaurant employees don’t care & I’ve just wasted my money. Do better fortune house and learn some customer service skills especially when YOU are in the wrong & not your customer !
