Over 30 years I have enjoyed Indian cuisine from many Indian restaurants in the Chicagoland area, Elk Grove Village/Schaumburg my hometowns. I was raised on this food from very kind neighbors even though I am not Indian. I live nearby and New Delhi has been a staple in the community for at least 25 years. This is a family owned business who ride on authenticity, honesty, and quality. From Samosas to Vindaloos and Kadais, Biryanis, Aloos, you are paying for heart and soul of this culture. Be sure to check out their lunch buffets for a great spread. Quick story; one time they forgot a rice in my order, and then provided extra naan and more rice. Generous portions with rich flavors reflecting their hospitality and humble atmosphere. Please eat here as this is a place to support for longevity.

Tried Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and Veg Biryani, Food is really great and we would love to do take out again or may be dine in once dine in open, restaurant people are very courteous and helpful .

I am a little late to right this but the restaurant deserves it.

So, I have been there with my family from a different state and had a hectic journey throughout the day. I wasn't feeling very well due motion sickness symptoms, we have been to this restaurant for dinner hoping to get comforting ghar ka Khana, the owner was so generous to us giving option of daal tadka and jeera rice, which was really enjoyable by my kids who loved it. The lady, observing my condition offered me lemon water and also on my request packed few pieces of lemon for the night. Those lemon pieces really made me feel good throughout the night. Loved their hospitality and I recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits Schaumburg.

I called in to place an order and spoke with Rahul, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, especially when it came to recommending vegan options. We went with his suggestions, and everything turned out to be phenomenal. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve ever tried!

We decided to come to this place based on recent good reviews. However, it was a mediocre experience for us. We ordered samosas but they did not serve green chutney. When we asked for it, they said they don’t have it. We ordered our main entrees and it was “okay”. The chicken biryani had more rice than chicken pieces. They didn’t serve raita with it. They didn’t serve papad or onion/tomato salad at all. We ordered 4 curry entrees but the plain rice did not come with it. Overall, I don’t think we would be visiting again.

We have been dining at New Delhi for years, food is great and always consistent, service is awesome. We typically get Chana masala, Aloo Gobi, roti and Chili naan (one of the best I have had). It will remain our go to restaurant for years to come. Highly recommended.

I am visiting Chicago with family and we were driving from Atlanta,GA and had arrived late this restaurant was 5 min from our hotel and the food, Service, People, quality and atmosphere was really great/Excellent. Will do visit next time and I do strongly recommend this place.

A hidden gem that is run by the owners who know all about cooking authentic Indian food and hospitality. Rahul and family not only make a great spread but know how to take care of their customers as if they are guests. Rahul and family took great care of us as we got there early and had a dog with us. They made sure our pooch got ample cool water while we waited for the food. We had baingan bharta, methi paneer, garlic naan, paratha, jeera rice and an awesome buttermilk. Strongly recommend this place. Truly Authentic, delicious North Indian food. 👍🏾👍🏾
