The samosa, saag paneer, dal tadka, and tandoori roti we ordered were incredibly flavorful, all homemade and among the best North Indian dishes I've had in the Chicago area, despite their smaller portions and the absence of rice. However, there was a noticeable lack of staff to manage both delivery orders and diners, resulting in slow service. Hiring more staff could significantly improve the restaurant's efficiency. We initially intended to order some non-vegetarian entrees, but the prolonged wait for the first set discouraged us. It's impressive that the owner and chef single-handedly manages the kitchen, but expanding the team could enhance the overall experience. Bravo to him for his dedication.

I have never eaten here before, even though we’ve been in the area since it open, which is quite some time ago. I must say the food was very good. They made it just to our liking when it comes to level of spiciness. We got a complementary mango lassi. The nice thing about it too is that it wasn’t very oily. I would definitely go back again again and recommend this place to my friends.
The food at this place is absolutely delicious and fresh. Family owned and operated for almost 30 Years. Call ahead to make sure they are open before making the drive if you live a distance away. I have always loved Indian food, but my husband has struggled finding an Indian restaurant that doesn't bother his tummy afterward. This is the first time in 10 years that an Indian restaurant has made it to our "date night" restaurant rotation...even HE loves this food and wants to go back. Yum. It's worth the drive and the price. We are "regulars" here now.
