Went to dinner with family for Chicago Restaurant Week and decided to try Perry's. It was a busy Sunday night, but the restaurant was comfortable and not too loud. We got the Scallops appetizer, they were amazing. I had the Sunday Porkchop Supper. For $49 you get a huge porkchop, a side and a soup or salad. I chose the Lobster bisque which was delicious, and the grilled asparagus as the side, this was also amazing. We also ordered the Sweet Sriracha Brussell Sprouts and the Loaded Whipped Potatoes. The brussel sprouts were the best I have ever had. My husband ordered the Lambchops and he really liked them. We will definitely be coming back and I will try the steak next time!

Went there yesterday for restaurant week. 6:30 reservation. We were a party of six and they tried to sit us at a giant table that would sit at least 10. We were moved to the bar in the corner.
We were there until almost 9:00pm. Took forever to get drinks. Waitress didn’t come back for 30 minutes to take our order.
The ceasar salad wasn’t good and had a lemon flavor to it.
One of our entrees was missed and the whole table waited with their food while the missing dinner was brought out 10 minutes later. No apology.
One of the fillets was overcooked. The waitress never came back to check how things were.
My steak was a cowboy ribeye was stringy ordered MR.
We then waited forever for desert. She brought spoons and 15 minutes later Luke warm cheesecake arrived that had obviously been sitting out for a while.
The manager then showed up to kick us out without ever being given a bill.
Took the waitress another 15 minutes to process the bill for us.
Perry’s really let us down tonight.

Amber was absolutely incredible! This was our first time dining for restaurant week and we will be back because of her and the incredible food!
Perry's is a fave during Restaurant Week. Overall we had a nice evening, the food was great - the pork chop is fantastic. We were seated quickly and given bread right away but there must have been miscommunication because it was 10 minutes before a server came to our table. James was our server and he redeemed himself. The other negative of the night was our table was right by the entrance and with the temperature and people going in and out, it was very cold at our table to the point a couple of us wore our jackets for part of the time. Everything else was smooth, all of the staff was friendly and made us feel valued.
Second time here and I am not impressed with the food. In my opinion, steaks are nothing special. A $80 steak doesn't merit the price; it has chunks of fat, it's not a premium steak, that's all I have to say. Like most establishments, this one is overrated and inflated; maybe it lives in the old glory days, but given the price, service, and quality, it's not justified. My Christmas dinner rib-eye, Texas style, or something like that. Half of it was fat; also, the side of the mushrooms was not so tasty, with a very strong taste, like the sauce was made out of a box powder. Oh yeah and the servers are something else at my christmas dinner we had a guy that was trying to upsell us without telling us for example we ordered wine he didnt ask us or tell us that there is two sizes of glass wine he just brought us the bigger size and a bottle that we didnt order, and mind you we were at the christmas dinner right at the start he started to push us to order to hurry up that was not polite so we had to let him know that he is being out of line but politely of course. Just want to let folks know what I think of this restaurant since it's a pretty penny, and you might as well get some different opinions.
Wonderful experience. Celebrated my mother's birthday and the staff was very attentive and kind. Will be back again soon.
We were celebrating an anniversary lunch and took advantage of the pork chop meal which was generous and delicious. We also tried the $9 filet carpaccio and lettuce wraps which were well prepared and tasty. The crème brûlée was fresh and rich. Our server Francesca elevates the experience with her outstanding service.
I've been coming to Perry's for about 3 years now. For me and my wife, we think the food is being seasoned a little more than usual based on our last two visits. In addition, we had a pretty full amount of appetizers left. Approximately 75%. Our server came to the table and just took them away. When he came back, we asked what happened to the appetizers as we were so engaged in speaking to one another that we didn't notice he took those away. We only thought he took away our empty plates. He stated that the food was thrown out because we didn't request that we wanted to take it home. We did let him know about that, and they were kind enough to make some more so we can take it home.

We do like Perry's a lot. We always make a reservation when going there. Despite the reservation, it never fails that we wait at the entrance for a table. There is always 2 or 3 hostesses present and they all seem confused. Otherwise, food is consistently good.
Atmosphere is great. The Alfredo pasta lacked flavor and our server though nice had to be reminded to bring some of our order. Overall not worth the price they charge.

Celebrating my husband's 65th birthday, a lovely card on the table signed by the team and chef was a very nice touch. The entire weekend we celebrated by enjoying local restaurant week specials. This was, by far, our favorite of the weekend. Everything was flavorful, cooked perfectly. The pork chop melted in your mouth, the onion soup was not salty had a little hint of sweetness. My fillet with crab over asparagus was cooked perfectly.. We will definitely return.
We celebrated my birthday here earlier this week. Our first time dining and we were impressed. Everything was perfect 10/10, they have easily and quickly become my favorite high end steak house. We had the pork chop bites-the seasoning is phenomenal. French onion soup-so flavorful. New York strip steaks, mine was with the 3 peppercorn au poivre- by far the best au poivre I’ve ever had, it was cooked perfectly, juicy, the seasoning is amazing. The Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were awesome. The chocolate jubilee cake has become my favorite chocolate cake I’ve ever had. It’s rich but not too rich, not overly sweet, the ganache is perfect. We started with a cucumber blueberry martini that is like a glass of blueberries- tart yet sweet. The dining room is upscale and elegant while modern. The entire staff is highly attentive and pleasant. I literally have nothing negative to say. Can’t wait to go back.
