Richard Walker's Pancake House

This is what you call a cut, clean breakfast place that keeps their customers happy by delivering service with gratitude.

The food tastes amazing where I had the white omelette, jalapeño pepper cheese with spinach and tomatoes, and it came out so tasty and the cheese was melted and every bite had a fluff melted in your mouth. The coffee is considered the house coffee and it taste better than anything You’ll find other stores or breakfast faces like IHOP and Denny’s. This place is better than Wildberries in my opinion as Wildberries is overhyped.

Celebrated my Son's Bday there for brunch and Everyone loved their food! Great Atmosphere and Staff 🥰 The new Management made awesome changes

We went as a group for breakfast, not once during our 5 day visit to Chicago/Schaumburg and always eat at Richard Walker's for breakfast! It has changed ownership in the past year and since we were last there but you can't tell it was an easy transition! Thr food (breakfast!) was great! Best bacon in town! And the pancakes are very good too! We had a large group of family, friends with us from all over, we are from Kansas City the rest of our group was from every where and those that were with us from before still loved Richard Walker's and those that were there for the first time really enjoyed their first visit and agreed the food is awesome! We plan to go back to Richard Walker's as always when we are in Chicago/Schaumburg area!
Parking is great! Free parking in attached lot, it is kid friendly with menu choices for kids! Also it is handicap accessible.
The new owner by the way was very nice and very knowledgeable about the restaurant and the business itself I am sure the restaurant will be there when we go back next year!

Food was gross, cold. They didn’t get the order right. I didn’t get my has browns, other order asked for patties gor links. This was on a Wednesday morning. No more.

I ordered eggs Benedict to be delivered by Grubhub. Let’s just say the chef was heavy handed on the hollandaise and it completely ruined bfast. Had I been there, I would have had a replacement made as this is a favorite go to of mine and I can’t believe this was sent out as presentable. Usually I’d give 5 stars but can’t today.

I was so happy that I was able to cater from Richard Walkers in Schaumburg for a work pot luck. The food was amazing to the point all of my co-workers were left in blissful food silence. Will definitely be ordering with them again.

Absolutely the worst omlette I've ever had. For my job I travel a lot so I eat breakfast out a lot. Over 50 breakfast places and this is the worst. The omlette had no substance. Instead stuffed with a gross amount of cheese. The omlette is brown. When I opened it I thought they accidentally cooked my packages and omlette into one big thing. They also don't give you 2 sides. I've paid $14 for omlettes with potato's and pancakes instead of just 1..... so I paid $20 for a terrible omlette with one side. I wish I could dispute the charge. Breakfast places with Walker in the name are always the worst. Literally go anywhere else. It'll be cheaper and quality. I'll gladly delete this if you guys comp my meal, sorry but I'm nit happy with this quality. My bank statements can even confirm how much breakfast I eat out and the lack of negative reviews for most of them. The salsa is also so underwhelming. Barely any flavor. I'll give them props for their Pico though. Thank God I asked for it or this omlette would be in the trash right now

I had not had breakfast at one of my favorite restaurants~ Walkers. A few decades ago I lived in buffalo grove Illinois where there was one located & enjoyed every sunday going there with my ex husband for a delicious breakfast. I usually got the apple pancake and he got crepes.
About 10 yrs ago I went to 1 located on roselle & golf, near the jewel. It was okay. I just had a basic breakfast.Didn't get the apple pancake that time.

My niece and her daughter picked me up to have breakfast with them and I chose...Walkers (by the Schaumburg library, as we had planned to go there next). I asked the waitress...what was the difference between this Location and the other one I saw on roselle; and she said that "the other one's ...owner changed & not one of the walker's brothers owned anymore".
So I was very happy we chose where we were, as.I looked forward to having my usual apple pancake.
I was NOT satisfied. It was very very syrupy sweet & the crust on the edges width hard & just didn't taste the same @ All!? I liked it in the past also, because I would take leftover home and munch on it as a room temp dessert or snack for the rest of day.
So super SWEET ...NOT AS "Flourly" seems.

We've been there a number of times and while the food is always good, service continues to vary widely. Sometimes the servers have been overworked but trying hard; this last time the server was not busy at all, but did not seem at all interested in getting us what we wanted. He took no notes of specific requests that were made (such as "well done"), just the basic item. When specifically asked, he did not state half the the choices of toast. When an egg dish was ordered, he did not ask how the customer wanted them (scrambled, over, etc.), just made his own choice. If the expected level of tips keeps going up, the level of service should at least not go down.

Richard Walker’s has been an old favorite for many over the last 2 decades. Through renovations, menu changes and management, the food is still created by the same cooks at the center of it all.
The coffee, delicious omelette’s and fluffy pancakes are still served piping hot and delicious as ever. I love the Sante Fe omelette that comes with the fresh salsa and sour cream!
Our server Val was exceptional checking on us many times and topping our coffee from a fresh hot pot! Real cream, butter and hot syrup always add value to make it an excellent breakfast here!! I can’t wait to get back and order the apple pancake and the seasonal pumpkin pancakes! Yumsville ~

Great standby place to go for the best breakfast in town. Consistent service and excellent food quality since we’ve been going over the last 10 years. Food is always hot and coffee always fresh. Real cream for your coffee not half/half. Omelettes have generous portions of veggies, cheeses and meats. The apple pancake is made with real butter and fresh apples. Perfect combinations and something for everyone! Food is never greasy and always tastes delicious. Well worth the wait at this specific location! Don’t settle for the rest, you pay the same and get the best!

Stopped in for brunch and was very pleased with how quickly I was seated. Ordered the chicken and waffles. Chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Waffles were nice and fluffy. (Be sure to ask for extra syrup, tho.) Staff is very friendly and welcoming! Definitely want to try more menu items.
