Who in their right mind could give this place any good review.
The food was so bad I didn't make it out of the parking lot before I had my head out the door vomiting...
The service was horrible and they automatically add 18% for a tip and then ask for more...
Needless to say I won't be back lol.
Not only the BEST sushi around, they have THE best price! This is our go-to whenever we are in the area!
I ordered two different types of rolls got the same roll twice even though on the ticket it has the two different rolls , rolls are made sloppy
Weird place
If you can’t speak Spanish don’t bother trying to dine in. Waiters sat us at a table and ignored us the whole time. No drinks or anything was served. After staring at the waiters for a good 10 mins who were just standing around I signaled one over. The young girl walks up to us and starts speaking Spanish. Says she will get someone who speaks English once she realized we didn’t speak Spanish. Nobody ever showed up. After another 10 mins of not even getting a drink, a young Hispanic couple walks in and sits by us. That same waiter started taking their order right away while we still waited for whoever to come out. We just got up and left at that point. It was dead in there so it wasn’t even like they were busy, just completely neglected us. Don’t waste your time here.
We came in at 7:30 PM on a Sunday, and the Indian server who came to “greet” us said we can only order for the next 30 minutes, meaning 8 PM. Mind you, the restaurant closes at 9 PM. On google, it states - kitchen closes at 8:30 PM. She was basically unwelcoming and was like “sorry only 30 minutes left.” And when asked to clarify, she said kitchen closes at 8 PM as the staff on the front whispers amongst each other 😒😡 VERY FRUSTRATING AS WE DROVE A LONG WAY TO DINE HERE. Used to go here years ago, and I’d say that the staff are much more accommodating, and the ambience was more lively.
I was there for a take out order. Unfortunately the staff didn't seem to care that I was waiting at the pew. I eventually had to flag a waiter down in order to even place my order.
The gentleman who took my order was the only positive about this experience. The two sushi rolls that I ordered were basic. A simple California and Crab roll.
When I got back to our hotel my son tried one piece from each roll and spit them both our one after the other. The basic crab roll wasn't basic at all. The crab was shredded and mixed with something that made it taste awful. I didn't even like it and I can handle most flavors. The seaweed wrap around both rolls tasted awful and was dry. The ingredients in both rolls seemed old.
Needless to say, both rolls got tossed in the garbage. My poor son felt so bad for spitting it out that he offered to pay me back for them. Naturally that was a hard no, but it tells you just how bad they were.
The menus are filthy, the food is gross, you order your own food, but still pay an automatic 18% tip, service SUCKS.
HORRIBLE!!!!! Sat us in the back with tables open in the front. Host gave us crusty menus, with fried rice stuck to it. Only gave us one all u can eat sheet with no explaination. Server admitted she didn’t know what was on the menu, and that we would have to look ourselves. Had THE NASTIEST ATTITUDE when we asked for a pen. Also the server had the NASTIEST ATTITUDE correcting us when we tried to use one AYCE menu for two people, THAT THEY GAVE US. Not to mention our table was sticky and it REEKED. NEVER AGAIN.
Grocery store sushi is better than this sushi. All my sushi rolls were bland, you can tell they’re using different fish and calling it tuna, which is very disappointing. Food came out quick, presentation was decent, service was okay.
Restaurantji Recommends
Sushi is mid, definitely not fresh. The service is also mid. We didn’t even know who our server was exactly because so many different people kept trying to help us. Along with that, we kept getting the wrong food brought to our table. The first round of the AYCE dinner was okay, but we ordered a second round and they marked our sheet but never put the order in. And they definitely did not put the order in because they came up to us 15 minutes later saying they will put in the food now. So we decided to just grab the check and leave. And as we were signing the check, a server came up to our table trying to hand us a bowl of chicken teriyaki that we did not order, especially since we had our coats on and were signing the check. Lastly, the seating is a bit hectic because the take-out area is in the dining area so you are hearing names being screamed out every few seconds and you are being surrounded by uber drivers and whatnot. Definitely will not be returning, was an awful Valentine’s Day experience.
Tried here to hope it was better than the reviews. The beer ordered was Sapporo, we were definitely poured a blue moon. The all you can eat sushi had a long menu, but the fish pieces were very thin and I’ve had a lot fresher. Normally I eat a lot of salmon, I was very turned off. Even more so, was the ramen. I will need to be convinced this isn’t instant ramen. No plans to return.
Definitely don’t recommend this place for sushi if you love sushi that is tasty and fresh. Fish is not fresh and rice tastes weird. Usually don’t leave reviews, but when it’s this type of quality…
Ordered take out, really good food, good amount of spiciness to the dips and rolls that said spicy, enjoyed my rolls and crab puffs
I order here all the time, food is always satisfying and it's my go to place for sushi and gyoza
Chicken teriyaki roll is my favorite
