Just happened to be invited to a friend's birthday party and had the best experience for any Indian restaurant in the area. The food is amazing and the place is so neat and spacious. Courteous staff and very-2 professional.

Good experience excellent food overall definitely going back. Most recommend
We did our son's first birthday here , The banquet hall is modern , well kept , Gave us the feeling of a proper banquet hall as opposed to just a big room . We didn't choose the bar initially , but on the day of party we asked if they can open the bar as well for us , and they did that , no need to say the guys enjoyed :-) So thanks for accommodating that .Food can be improved , but my main concentration was on the ambience , so it met our needs fairly well.

Went for Lunch Buffet. The place was good inside but was also empty. The quality and variety of food were not good for the price of $20+. For appetizers, they had mini samosas (I felt these were bought frozen from the Indian store ) with hardly any filling along with over-fried mixed pakora. They were a bit cold along with chili chicken and fish fry. The biryani (veg and chicken) was okay and the nan was good as expected from any Indian restaurant along with some yogurt raita. this place has four meat and four vegetarian dishes. The Punjabi-style Indian veg like palak paneer, paneer mutter, and vegetable jalfrezi and egg curry. The meat dishes like butter chicken, lamb ghoost, and Andhra-style chicken curry were as expected but nothing special about them to make another visit. All foods were very spicy and a bit less flavorful because of the hotness. Deserts like rice pudding and double ka Meeta looked cheap and were not done well appealing. The only things they had from south India were white rice and sambar which didn't look appealing to even touch. Nothing else to go with South Indian dishes. Had typical American fruits. Didn't have soups and crisp items like pappads to be kids-friendly. Compared to other buffets in the Chicago suburbs area they lacked hot chai/coffee and cold drinks part of the buffet. This place was a lot better a few years back but like most Indian places quality goes down over the years. I wish them the best.

I wish there was negative 5 star as rating. The manager at this place is extremely rude. While the person on the front desk who took the order accepted that the order was for medium spice level , manager was adamant on the food always come spicy. You could have told this while we place the order , we wouldn’t have ordered from you then.We went back to this place and returned the food but Ofcrs can’t expect even a sorry from them , forget about refunding the money. Please save your day by staying away from this place.

Although I got several items from the buffet (as evident by the below picture), I’d like to spotlight the butter chicken. It was my first time going to a restaurant that caters to the Indian palate and it did not disappoint. The butter chicken was tangy, tender, and well-seasoned. The aesthetically-pleasing golden curry the chicken marinated in had a rich texture that further whetted my appetite. It paired excellently with the rice by offering a refreshing contrast between the subtle spiciness of the former and the mildness of the latter. The butter chicken was amazing and by far the best dish I had Schaumburg Indian Bar & Banquet.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant/buffet in the area. We've tried a handful and we just find the variety and flavors suit our pallets the best. Maria was out waitress and she was so pleasant and polite. Would recommend to those who love Indian buffets to explore a bunch of different dishes for a great price.
