Buffet missing a lot of items. Service was horrible, did not come around to remove used plates and bowls. Waited 30 mins for check, they took a birthday picture of the table with all dirty dishes on table. Not a good impression for the first and last time going.
Overall, a really fun experience and easy to do with a variety of ages. The food was really good.
Tasty hot pot, and nice service! I probably had like 11 waters and they were refilling it so quickly! First time doing hot pot and the server explained how it worked to us!
Absolutely loved our experience at Shabu-You Japanese Wagyu Hot Pot in Schaumburg! The Ultimate Wagyu option was worth every bite — the top-tier Wagyu was incredibly tender, rich, and melted in our mouths. Paired with the endless variety of fresh vegetables, sauces, and sides, it truly felt like an endless indulgence. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you’re a hot pot lover or just want to treat yourself, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
I went first time last night. Lots of difference choices of veggies which looks fresh. Couple of different source choices but I don’t see shacha source. That made me a little sad.
Super super tasty and good quality food! The service is top notch! Lily our server was very nice, attentive, and fast! I love going to this restaurant ❤️
We absolutely love coming to Shabu You. The quality of the meat is fantastic and there are so many options at the cold bar to customize your experience. We love when Lincoln is our server. He's always attentive and helps us make our dining the best it can be. We are always thrilled when we're seated in his section.
Ive always loved this place but today was bad. Their AC wasn't working ??? They had fans running but didn't help especially while having boiling broth infront of us and it being 90 degrees outside today it should be fixed asap i feel bad for the workers. The desert table was all warm stuff and our cream puffs were melted thats how hot it was in there.
Came in here for crab legs only to find out they changed their menu last week. No more crab legs.
Shabu-Yo in Schaumburg is a fantastic spot for hot pot lovers. The food quality is outstanding, with fresh ingredients and a great variety of meats, vegetables, and broths. Service is attentive without being overbearing, and the ambience is pleasant for a casual night out. Prices feel fair for the quality and quantity, though it can get moderately noisy when it's busy. Overall, a great place to enjoy a satisfying and interactive meal with friends or family.

Loved the food.
This was mine and my girlfriend's first time. We were very impressed with the food selection. We both are from Asian backgrounds and we're very familiar with all the foods that were there. Everything was very tasty and it did not seem extremely salty, which was good. There was a huge variety for children and adults and they had so much more than just the hot pot portion. We ate with extremely full tummies. We hope to be back sometime soon and I plan to bring family back. It was also adorable how our birthdays were celebrated. The extra treat was absolutely delicious. I would say the only negative is the coffee didn't taste really good but I am not sure what kind of coffee they used. We came in with a reservation and we were on time and had to wait a little bit, but it was no big deal. Because we came on a weekend. It was a little more expensive. We opted out of getting the expensive meat and found ourselves happy with what we got. It is a little bit pricey we chose the middle level and with tip was about $50 a person. Definitely not your average weekday dinner for the family but definitely a good occasional treat
We've never been to this place or anything like it. It was great! The robots are fun. You should have a “cute” way to tip them like an oil can or something. Since we had never been, a more thorough explanation of what to do and how to do it would have made it better. Also, since you have crab legs AND pancakes & waffles, you should have butter available. We will be back
Always a fun experience. We like to bring in new people to see the robots and enjoy the variety of foods.
We have the reservation at 5:15 pm. Was waiting at the counter until 5:35 to get the table, and didn't get it. Had to leave and find another place for dinner.
