The host helped us alittle bit and then our server took our order but she didnt tell us till way after we got the broth and our stuff for the buffet bar thing that you have to order the meat and sushi on the tablet thing on the table. Then the robot brings it to us. They didnt refill our drinks enough either. It was okay once we got our stuff but i wish they would of told us beforehand so we could get everything together. We also got the flavor bears. They are cute but i got more flavor from the sauces bar then the bear. The food tasted good. Just wish they could of explained it better. ?

Most of my reviews are heavily influenced by the service, in fact I would say it's the biggest factor in a positive or negative rating.Shabu-you is the type of place that I would like to give a positive rating to but the service was so poor on my last visit that we actually got up and left. The situation was that we arrived shortly after they opened, waited in the reception area for 10-15 mins and were finally given a table. Keep in mind that you order your food from a tablet and imagine sitting there for another 15 minutes while half a dozen staff members pass back and forth without turning on the tablet or offering us a drink. When we asked if we could order the manager said that someone would be with us in a few minutes. The summery is that the service is terrible and despite the food being decent I don't recommend wasting your time and money here.

We used to frequent this restaurant about every other month and do the all you can eat special. With 4 people that’s a $300 bill. The last time we went the manager said new owners have a policy that EVERYONE has to order if they are to be seated. Our 5th was my little sister (who has bad allergies) and they denied us service since not everyone was going to order food. This was the same manager who was giving us a hard time the prior visit we made. I’m disappointed the quality of service we’ve been getting and that we’ll have to find a new spot when we want to treat ourselves.

My recent experience at Shabou-You was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that this establishment lacks even the most basic elements of hospitality.Upon arrival, I was not greeted by the hostess, but rather met with a cold stare as if I was inconveniencing her by simply being there. I was left to initiate any sort of conversation or seating arrangement, which immediately set a negative tone for the evening. The dismal service didn't end there. Our waiter was not only rude but also incredibly unprofessional. Throughout the entirety of our meal, he seemed more engrossed in his phone screen than attending to our needs. Not only was his behavior disrespectful, but it was also downright insulting. When my companion attempted to ask a question, he rudely shoved his hand into her face, displaying a shocking lack of manners and customer service skills. To add insult to injury, when it came time to settle the bill, I made the conscious decision not to leave a tip due to the abysmal service we received. Little did I know, this decision would result in the waiter taking it upon himself to help himself to an additional $30 from my wallet. It's despicable that such dishonesty is tolerated within the walls of this establishment.Overall, my experience at Shabou-You was one of the worst I've ever encountered. From the lack of greeting to the outright theft, it's clear that this restaurant has a long way to go in terms of customer service and basic decency. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining here to look elsewhere for a more respectful and enjoyable experience.

Like one other review said, for the price, go to happy lamb. It's like a sadder, but somehow, more expensive, happy lamb.we had the chicken broth, kelp broth, and tonkotsu broth and all thought they were quite bland. I think this place you're meant to rely on sauces to add flavor rather than just the broths.they did have a large selection of sauces and veggies. all seemed fresh and they kept everything topped up. the meat was lesser quality than happy lamb for sure. thinner cuts and really doesn't seem like the "wagyu" was actual wagyu based on the marbling.happy lamb has better service (this place was understaffed and packed), better food, and better atmosphere.the individual bowls thing was cute a novel but the quality of the food isn't worth the price. especially when they start the 90-minute timer right when you sit, and we didn't see our server until the timer hit 73 mins.Vegetarian options: no one in my party was vegetarian, but they definitely have options. you'd have to get the kelp broth or the miso broth. very easy to simply pick up vegetarian ingredients for your soup. the pricing is based off of the type of meats you'll get, though.seems a good place for a mixed party of meat eaters and vegetarians but if everyone is a vegetarian I'd do elsewhere.Parking: there seemed to be enough disabled spots and they were right by the door.Kid-friendliness: since it is an all you can eat, the kids can pick exactly what they will and won't eat. there are some fried foods and desserts if they won't eat any of the veggie or meat options.Wheelchair accessibility: a wheelchair should be able to get into the restaurant fine, but a lot of the tables would require you to transfer into the booth or chairs. the spaces between tables should fit a wheelchair if there isn't any person or robot there. it would be hard to stay in the wheelchair for the entire meal.

We absolutely loved our meal! The service was great and the food was delicious. There is a wide variety of options to choose from and we really enjoyed trying it all! It was a great meal and we'll definitely be back!

We came here with our 5 year old kids. They were cooperative enough to keep away from the hot broths. Service was excellent and fast. The quality of meat was great! Food was delicious. We stayed away from some of the odd fusion items at the unlimited buffet. Overall excellent experience and value. We will be coming again.

The food taseted phenomenal and our waiter explained the process to order andhow to navigate the buffet. The issue I had was our reservation was for 4:30. We weren't seated until I asked the front desk staff how much longer the wait would be at 4:50. When we sat down we were told we have 90 minutes and picked our broths when the timer on the touchpad appeared we were at 75 mins. Towards the end of our time the waiter attempted to give us the extra time due to a delay on the staff side but the manager came to our table asked us to exit due to another reservation for the table. Where was the urgency when seating our party and why start the timer according to our reservation time when we were seated late!
