Friendly staffs, Cozy and comfortable restaurant for family, couples, groups. Hot tea and water were offered once we seated Refreshing banchan were offered before our foods arrived, it doesn’t take long for our foods arrive. Crispy fried dumplings were good. Beef Raman noodles were not over cooked, The broth flavor was mild, but good. Beef bugogi was flavorful with rice on the side. Kimchee soup comes with noodles on the bottom side hot stone steamed rice along with the order. We all enjoyed our dishes. We get there right when they open. The place fills up quickly. Highly recommended.

Had another great meal of Sundubu Jjigae and beef bulgogi. The banchan were again all great and very appropriate. This is the second of their restaurants I've been too and the quality is just as high. In a fantastic shopping area with many markets and stores a couple minutes away, so it was our shopping lunch break. They do close for a staff lunch at 2:45.Vegetarian options: Other than saying yes, the fish cakes do indeed contain fish (watch the banchan), the vegetable options are very clear.Wheelchair accessibility: Even surface from the parking lot to the restaurant.

Ordered Seafood Soontofu for take out. Pick-up was simple and easy, brought it back to the hotel and had my dinner.I appreciated that they give you four banchans - picked radish, fish cake, napa kimchi and cucumber kimchi. While I liked all the banchans, my favorite was the cucumber as it was perfectly seasoned, sour and sweet, hit the spot.As for the soontofu - the dish was seasoned well, had a kick to it, even though I asked for "regular" on the spicy level.... however, I was disappointed in the amount of "seafood" they provided.... it had 3 shrimps and 3 clams... no squid or other types of seafoods and definitely lots of tofu.Overall, the soon tofu hit the spot on this chilly rainy day. Definitely will be back to try other flavors of the soon tofu.

I had stone pot bibimbap, but the stone was lukewarm so it was just warm bibimbap?A little disappointing!

and. I visited Sogong-dong for the first time since coming to Chicago. The food was impressive! It's delicious! The waiter has a cave-like voice and is very friendly. I will come again next time.

It took us awhile to find decent Korean food, compared to LA and NY. Delish seafood pancake and beef

Love the small dishes. And tofu soup is great. I would give it 5 stars before. But it seems they've changed their tofu supply recently. It's not as smooth and soft as before. Flavor is still good and I'd still go. But please bring back the old tofu!

Reminds me of my trip to Seoul!I ordered a beef bulgogi and can say this was just as good as the Michelin star bulgogi I ordered in Korea! The beef was cooked well and was very flavorful, had a nice sweet flavor.Coming back for the short-ribs!

Their soup always tastes great. I've been here so many times.I took off 1 star bc they've raised their prices *multiple* times within the past year or so.

Enjoy Enjoy

This restaurant has two opening time slots, so be sure to check the schedule to avoid missing out. The food is quite tasty, and the service is good. I particularly enjoy their appetizers, the variety of small dishes they offer. I've been there many times, and they've never been irritable even when crowded. When many customers rush in, they handle it fairly. The food is delicious and definitely worth a try.
