DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE..... horrible customer service which makes sense considering these people probably make minimum wage. they are rude, deflect their mistakes onto their customers, and are SUPER overpriced.... probably because they need the money since I highly doubt anyone in the right mind would pay $100 for a small undecorated cake for 15 people.

HORRIBLE customer service, overpriced cakes ( which aren't even that great to be honest )..... just go save yourself some money and buy a cake from Jewel or Marianos, nothing different other than saving a solid $80. You're welcome for the advice!

I placed an order with Sweet Occasions on 9/13 for a cake scheduled for pickup on 9/20. When I later requested a refund (well before the pickup date and before any supplies were used) because my mother-in-law had already ordered a cake elsewhere, I was told about a “no refunds within a week” policy. The problem is that this policy was NOT disclosed online or at the time of purchase (via phone) — I was only informed AFTER the fact when I asked for a refund. I also never received an order confirmation number, nor was I asked for my email to send me an invoice or any fine print regarding policies.

When I raised this concern, instead of receiving respectful customer service, I was told it was MY responsibility to ask about refund policies rather than the business’s responsibility to disclose them. I was also told that ordering online was a “convenience” for me, not them, and that policies are ONlY posted IN-store.

For transparency: consumer protection standards require that refund policies be clearly communicated prior to purchase, especially for online orders. That did not happen here. The dismissive and unprofessional communication I received only made the experience worse (see attached messages).

I have since escalated the matter through my card issuer. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business based on how they handled the situation.

P.S. after reading through their reviews, it seems like this company’s prerogative is to deflect their mistakes and lack of communication onto their customers instead of taking accountability.

The absolute worst customer service here, they charge $100 for a tiny cake with ZERO decorations and then when we asked for a refund 2 weeks in advance, they said “sorry we don’t do refunds we are a small business”…. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING HERE, THEY ARE OVERPRICED AND THE ASIAN LADY WORKING THE PHONE AND TEXTING IS RUDE AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN TAUGHT MANNERISMS BY HER FAMILY.

I ordered cookies for a baby shower and they were absolutely perfect! Not only were they beautiful and decorated with such detail, but they tasted just as amazing as they looked. Everyone at the shower kept asking where they came from, and they were a huge hit. The ordering process was smooth and the cookies were ready right on time, packaged so carefully. I couldn’t have been happier and will definitely be ordering again for future events!

Was looking for a cake nearby, most cake studios required a 2 week notice and I was quite late on that so wanted a pre-made cake. Sweet Occasions had something for me + plus had the color pallette I wanted. Great place, added to my notes.

Needed a 2 tier Pokemon themed birthday cake for my boys. The wonderful gentleman that took my order happened to be into Pokemon too and that’s when I knew I was in good hands. The cake definitely exceeded my expectations and everyone at the party complemented how good the cake look and tasted! It was delish! Customer service was top notch and the cake was priced very fair. Sweet occasions will be my go to bakery from now on and grateful that they are local! Added some of their toys as decor.

I absolutely love Sweet Occasions! Cindy and Tim are amazing! The cakes and cupcakes are delicious and beautifully decorated!

This review is loooong overdue... my family has gotten baked goods for 4 birthdays, a baptism, and a couple pop-ins for cupcakes in the past year. Obviously, we're hooked. Staff is helpful, attentive to detail, and bends over backward to ensure satisfaction.

Some of the best cake pops I’ve ever found! We’ve ordered several times for bridal showers, baby showers and birthdays. Flavors are great and they are moist cake pops! The best! We will always order from here.

Could not recommend this place enough! I reached out and they communicated with me about everything pertaining to the cake. They EXCEEDED my expectations, the cake came out beautifully. I was a little nervous since I didn’t see the cake beforehand but wow. Truly stunning. Everyone complimented my cake and loved it. In addition to the cake looking amazing, it also tasted amazing! The buttercream and confetti cake were so moist and delicious. Even after the cake had been sitting out it looked and tasted perfect. I will definitely be ordering another cake from here in the future!

We purchased a 1 tier cake for a birthday party from Sweet Occasions for the first time and it was delicious and beautifully decorated! Cindy and the Sweet Occasions team were phenomenal to work with over the phone and via email with any questions I had prior to picking up the cake. The cake was marble with chocolate filling complete with some personalized writing on top and our guests loved it. Highly recommend ordering from Sweet Occasions!

Sweet Occasions did an awesome job with my kiddo’s birthday cake. It not only looked good, but tasted great as well - the kids said the fondant legos even tasted good. Everyone I communicated with when ordering and at pickup were courteous and professional. I will definitely use them again in the future!

We got our son’s birthday cake here and it was phenomenal. The turn around time was great and we’ll definitely order from here again.
