Wont go here again. Food was not good. We had a to go order here. Everyone said the food was not good or fresh. Spicy beef was ground beef. Flavors were off and taste old and/or no flavor at all. Taste of thai is 10000x better!

Standard Thai food. It's average which is not bad. sorry but four people voted so it's not just me.

This place was a mixed bag. The food was delicious, even though I asked for mild spice and got at least medium. Pad Thai was one of the best I’ve had. Service on the other hand was appalling. The lady serve I had could care less I was there. She appeared annoyed when I asked for something. I had to find her to get a box and my check. To her other tables of more than one she smiled and laughed. To me she had no personality. The final issue - who the hell charges 18% gratuity for ALL tables automatically??? I always tip more than 18% when they do their job well, but when you have a server that treats u like garbage why should I be forced to pay that???

I was so excited to take my son here. This has been my fav restaurant since the late 90s!The best Thai restaurant in Chicagoland. They have lots of meat free options. My personal favs are their spicy tofu & the spicy tom yum soup. It is SOOO DELICIOUS!!

Very overpriced, extra charges that are not on the menu. Had a reservation and made to wait almost half an hour. When it was time to be seated, they asked for our order instead of seating us. We ordered, and our bill was twice what we ordered due to unknown charges. Still have no idea what we paid for.

Really enjoyed my meal here. The staff was amazingly friendly and observant on what we needed. The chicken Tom yum soup was really good- some of the best I had. Could have done without the tomatoes. The large more than feeds 3 people. Cashew chicken was good, chicken fried rice was good but would go for the curry or basil one next time. Egg rolls were decent- very crisp but inside could use more flavor. Garlic shrimp was surprisingly good.

My recent dining experience at Thai Garden was regrettably disappointing, and I feel compelled to share the details to help others make informed decisions. The server's indifferent attitude was evident when suggesting the use of the hot sauce left in the jar, which unfortunately amounted to no more than three small spoons. Not only we kept repeating the same request again and again, the servant unfortunately kept offering leftover hot sauce from the other tables and kept saying use this and she will bring more once we finish it. Surprisingly all of those jars didn't have more than 2-3 spoons of sauce left. This not only highlighted a lack of attention to detail but also a disregard for providing a satisfying dining experience.Adding to the dismay was the unexpected 18% gratuity charge. Surprisingly, there were no follow-up visits during the meal, and the waiter only appeared at the end to present the bill. This lack of engagement raises serious questions about the justification for such a substantial gratuity. As someone who appreciates Thai cuisine, it pains me to say that Thai Garden fell far short of expectations. The combination of subpar service and an unjustified gratuity charge make it challenging to recommend this establishment to fellow diners.I appreciate your feedback. Let me provide you with a revised version, focusing on your concerns about service, hot sauce availability, and the unexpected gratuity:

The food was average. Have had much better Thai food elsewhere. But the biggest turn off was the terrible, very cheap service for an 18% default gratuity. All tables had hot souse that is only 10-20% filled in the small jar (may be 2-3 teaspoon). When you order more you will get same left over 2 teaspoon hot souse from other table and waitress telling you to finish that first (very rude we were stunned). One of the worst and cheap service I have experienced ever.
