We had dinner last night and wow was the food and service were amazing! This restaurant has been around for a while, so I wasn't that excited to go. BUT the experience completely changed my mind. We had edamame, filet on the rock, tuna sticky rice, pork buns, braised beef tacos, maki rolls and fried rice. All were delicious, but I keep thinking about the tuna sticky rice and pork buns! Our entire family loved it all!
Delicious food!! But the tacos are amazing! Perfectly balanced flavors, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection.
Great food. Lovely atmosphere - peaceful and serene. It was a wonderful place for a business lunch, but I can see that it would be great for a date night as well.
We went for dinner on a Sunday. It was empty, just us and another couple having dinner. Food was decent, but it's always weird to be in an empty restaurant.
We enjoyed another visit to Tokio Pub. Our kids really enjoy cooking on the hot rock. Fun atmosphere and menu. Our waitress Francesca was so nice, we had her in the past and she remembered out kids and made us feel like family
The prices for Restaurant Week are often higher than ordering the same items a la carte. Lettuce really needs to automatically remove that 3% service charge. We spent over $23,000 in restaurants in 2024, and if all the restaurants charged that extra 3%, we would have paid an additional $700 dollars! As it is, most restaurants have significantly raised their prices. You should't treat your most loyal customers so poorly! And, we were the only ones who dined in this restaurant for lunch today. I wonder why? No, we know why!
There is an instant “vibe” to Tokio Pub that makes you feel like you can relax and have a fun experience. We had their restaurant week menu options with a few extras added in. It was a blustery night so the miso soup hit all the spots. I liked the bits of mushroom in it. The Red Dragon was delicious. We also had the roll that has salmon and lemon. So light but satisfying. I also like whatever brand of soy sauce that they offer for sushi. Madison was the dream server. Knowledgeable, attentive and politely amused at my weird requests. (I wanted a special spoon for my vanilla ice cream.) My edamame were good but were a little tough. More time being steamed or maybe less? Not a meal breaker. Best part is they had a cool mock tail! It was a mojito, raspberry?, who cares it was nice so I could imbibe with my buddy while not consuming-OH. Great experience as always! I forgot to order some tuna crispy rice so I'll have to come back!
Have eaten here many times but won't be coming back again. Shrimp fried rice unedible, beignets cold and not enough sugar on them. Sangria very watery, hot rock filet-we ordered three of them and all our hot rocks were mildly hot and we had to ask for new ones as it wouldn't cook the beef. Kids meals were suppose to come with fries. For $275 on a Sunday night, we won't be back.
We had the best service! It was incredibly refreshing to have a personable server, she was great! My husband and I came for date night before the Improv show and enjoyed hot rocks, sushi, cocktails and potstickers. We will be back!
Absolutely love it ! Delicious food ang great people!!!

The ramen burger is legit, the bang bang calamari had just the right spice and the volcano roll had the best fried jalapeño slices to complement the well balanced flavors. The atmosphere is lively, the space is clean and the staff very proficient.

I am revising my original review because of the really terrific follow up I received after the initial posting. Though I suspect they were not having their best night on the night we were there, when we let the management know, they immediately took steps to hear our concerns and to take steps to make changes. This is the mark of a really great restaurant, even when things are not perfect they take steps to make it right. I will for sure be back to give them another go.
We had a fabulous meal at Tokio. Our first time doing hot rock and our server was so great and brought out several rocks so that all of our kids could do one. Rangoon roll, potstickers, pork buns and ramen were all fantastic. We had the best service, she was on top of everything and made our meal even more spectacular.

My daughter and I had a late lunch here yesterday. We shared both hot rock dishes, the tuna and filet mignon. They were delicious! Tip for slow eaters, cook your meat to taste quickly, the rocks lose their heat eventually. Then we shared the rainbow rolls. While the food was great, our server was excellent! Jess heard my daughter tease me about being unable to use chop sticks, so she came over with a specially designed version that was easy to use. Overall, I had a deep sense that this woman was a very kind and considerate soul. Jrss made an excellent hostess. It certainly added to our enjoyment.
