Horrible customer service and rotten food. Pre-Ordered a cake for a birthday and when we got there, the lady was giving us strange dirty looks. Didn’t think too much of it until we got home and started taking pics of the cake. There was literal mold on all the fruits on the top of the cake. We thought it was the glaze from the fruits but so glad we realized sooner than later. The cake itself tasted like a dried sponge. Save your time and go to the Arlington Heights location.

Cake had fungus growing on it and this was immediately after we bought it. Service is horrendous and the cashier didn’t even know English. Either way, a $50 cake should not have fungus and taste so stale. Never going here again! I’ve tried other locations and they were much better - this one sucks.

I have been coming here weekly for years, but ever since they hired several new staff members, the quality of service has gone down significantly. For example, one of the cashiers told me I should give tips directly to her instead of putting them in the tip jar because everyone has to split it. Another young girl, just a couple of days ago, basically smashed my pastries as she carelessly threw them into the bag. The food is still good, but the service has definitely declined.

While this place is amazing, today was a bad experience. I am lactose intolerant and ordered a coffee with coconut milk. Then when i received my drink I asked and double checked to make sure it was coconut milk and the lady said it wasn’t. I told her i couldn’t drink it and it wasn’t what I ordered but she proceeded to reprimand me and blame me. She said it was my fault and they can’t remake the drink. What am I supposed to do get sick?

First off I would like to say that I did enjoy this place for delicious coffee and great service. Today I ordered 3 Hazelnut lattes and unfortunately they turned out to be awful. Extremely hot, smelled and tasted like burned coffee. Completely different taste from what I got a few days ago. Also, they poured it fully up to the rim, I was walking with and it spilled over and burned my arm. Then after that it spilled inside my car. Please take attention to this review and improve.

Service was quite miserable. No smiles or pleasantries. Definite room for improvement.
Atmosphere is nice with some nice looking products. The spinach pastry I felt was lacking filling, was not impressed.
The coffee Americano tasted like cheap hotel coffee. Overall disappointed, mostly with the service, which is easy to fix if they want to, although I suppose they don’t want to hence why it is that way it is.

Ordered a cheesecake from here for my husband for his birthday as cheesecake is his favorite dessert. Cheesecake came nicely packaged and included candles and a cutting knife which was nice. The cheesecake was good but i don’t know if i was not supposed to refrigerate because it kinda of crumbled as we cut into it. I felt like it was a bit overpriced for how small it was but would probably get it again. The place was cute inside, first time here and want to visit again with my daughters. All the pastries looked delicious and their macaroons were really good. The staff was a little unorganized but the place was busy the whole time we were there so just be prepared to possibly wait in line for a bit depending the time you go. Overall I would recommend and will be giving it another try.

Hands down the best bakery I've ever been to in the states. Food was unbelievably good, specifically some blueberry croissant that I can't remember the name of but was unbelievable.
Their eggs were also spectacular on their breakfast sandwiches
