This place is usually spot on but yesterday 12/20/25 was far from this. Woman behind the counter that was at first in the back with others having the time of their lives, yapping away seemed surprised that customers were coming in to spend sorry waste their money. Couple of other employees were still having good ole time. Ordered blimey limey and not sure when peanut butter was added to this smoothie but it was with ours and a mango monsoon, which seemed to be the correct ingredients but was not smoothie consistency and full of chunks of ice and mangos. I understand that getting back to your fellow employees is top priority while at work when you should be attentive to what you are making and ensuring it is done correctly. Not sure if was just a very off day but was a complete waste of money from my perspective as the paying customer.

On top of that, the smoothies are often not filled to the top, which is frustrating. For almost $11, both the taste and the portion should be right. If I wanted a smaller size, I wouldâve ordered one.
The customer service also needs improvement. Staff members often stay in the back instead of greeting customers or addressing mistakes. As someone who comes in daily, itâs disappointing to feel ignored rather than appreciated.
Has been a new go to spot. The mango smoothie is really good.

Itâs seems that if you donât tip, they are careless with handling your food. Iâm not able to tip every time but I should definitely get what I PAID for! Also, today I witnessed one of the workers being nasty to a customer. It seems the worker didnât know how to give a refund but she tried to trick the customer into thinking the refund went through and then started catching an attitude!
Food is amazing as always. I tried the chocolate cookie for once and it was pretty decent. One thing that stood out were the workers. This tropical by far, had the best employees. They are so kind from greeting you when walking in, to ordering, to saying, âhave a good dayâ when leaving. đ

The food was delicious but the service is really bad, they prepared my food wrong & I nicely brought it up to them & she was being so rude and annoyed with me because I just wanted what BOUGHT to be fixed. Staff needs a refresher course on customer service. Go to another location for sure

Iâm a regular customer who visits Tropical Smoothie CafĂ© during my lunch break MondayâFriday, and I usually order through the app to save time. Lately, Iâve been really disappointed with the consistency and quality of my smoothies. My sister and I order the exact same smoothie, the only difference is that I ask for mine without bananaâand as you can see in the photo below, the texture of mine is completely off compared to hers. Instead of a smooth blend, I keep receiving something closer to a chunky slushie filled with ice and chocolate. Itâs so thick you canât even sip it, and thatâs not what Iâm paying for.
