Order Cheese and Onion Enchilada with side of Stir-fry vegies plat and black been. Waiter said they no longer serve black been, but on line offers the choice. Stir-fry came with 90% onion 5% green pepper 5% read pepper. I gave told waiter, he said I will let them know this feedback. No apologies. Side Salad made of Cabbage and tomato instead of lettuce. Who does that? I WILL NOT RECOMAND Schaumburg Uncle Julio's Mexican to anyone. It is Mexican from what ever is chipper to serve not Mexican from scratch....

My family and I love this restaurant, the food is delicious, the service is good but sometimes they don't serve you on time, but otherwise it's a nice place.

I really wanted to treat myself out for my birthday with my son. He’s a toddler but I brought tons to keep him entertained and busy. Ordered the salmon, it was so incredibly dry and overcooked. I’m We ordered a side of fruit and the strawberries had squishy spots ( starting to go bad) and pineapple wasn’t fresh or right. Our waitress only came to our table 3 times, once to take initial order, once 30 mins after we got our food because I flagged someone down asking for our drinks, once when I flagged her down for the check. We were seated at 5:15 and didn’t get out of there until 6:45. We were ready to leave earlier but couldn’t with this service. She apologized for not coming to check on us, but we still didn’t have refills, straws, napkins or a side I ordered. Really really poor service. Meh food. 2 stars because I’ve been in the past and enjoyed it but this experience definitely turned me off of returning again.

The food was amazing. It was wayyy too dark in there like almost hard to see your food. The service was terrible. I definitely felt like I was getting pushed to the back burner because everyone that came in after me was serviced before us. It took about 30 minutes for them to even come and take our order & they switched servers about three times. I would come back for to go food, but I will probably never dine-in again.

Half the restaurant was empty, plenty of tables available, and waiters just standing around with nothing to do. Yet when we asked for a table, we were told to wait 40 minutes. It feels like they deliberately make customers wait to drive people away. Very disappointing and unprofessional

The manager Danny was exceptional and provided great service to ensure we were taken care of. We had an issue with a delivery order and Danny made sure to take care of the issues with the food and offers a free dinner and refunded my order. They did a great job of completely changing our experience with Uncke Julio’s. We will be dining here much more. Thank you to Danny and his team for their great customer service!

Hubby and I had lunch here and the food was delicious. I had shrimp tacos and my husband had steak fajitas. Friendly attentive staff and the chips and salsa is a hit!!!

I had reservations for a later time, thinking I would need them but got in earlier and it was pretty empty. It took some time to get someone to seat me and my date. The server was very friendly and prompt (at least for the most part). We ordered the Margarita flights, Taco bar, and Churro cake. The flights were nice but the blueberry puree had a off taste... I thought it jalapeno... The food was good but I don't think I would go back.
