What used to be Port of Peri Peri has now become Vasco’s Peri Peri, and I have to say—this change has been for the better. I’ve dined here before, but today I decided to do takeout. I called ahead and placed an order for two Chicken and Rice Bowls (one Lemon & Herb and the other Medium spice level). By the time I arrived—about 15 minutes later—my order was ready and waiting.

Mustafa was polite and professional, even while helping another customer, and quickly rang me out. The service was smooth and efficient.

Compared to Port of Peri Peri, Vasco’s is hands-down the superior choice. The food quality is consistent, portion sizes are generous, and the restaurant itself feels noticeably cleaner and more inviting. Whether dining in or taking out, Vasco’s Peri Peri has definitely earned a spot on my go-to list in Schaumburg.

Question: why they never give utensils with to go food? Not even napkin? It would be nice service if they do what other restaurants normally do. I hope owner takes note of it.

Stopped by to try and will be coming back. Very tasty, very fresh, and the friendly owners insisted we try their sauces and take our time ordering to ensure we enjoyed the meal. Great peri style chicken, try the casava fries, and definitely taste all the homemade sauces.

Food is outstanding! Especially Chicken Tikka with Garlic Naan. Prices are high but well worth it. The food is so fresh and always the hot food is hot and the cold food is chilled
