“The people here could not have been nicer or more accommodating for our group which included a pescatarian and a vegetarian. We had the Sunday buffet and it did not dissapoint! Salad bar made a great salad plus macaroni salad and two types of potato salad. My friend loved the fried chicken and two friends could not stop being amazed by how moist the fried fish was. Reasonably priced and we left so full!! Will definitely go back if we are in the area again!”

“Yes. Yes. Yes. Dive Bar with friendly faces and strong drinks. A bar that is dimly lit but clean. If you like a safe dive bar - this is your place. Hard but friendly people. Cheap drinks, strong drinks. Plenty of seating, poker machines, and a great juke box. Have a drink by yourself, bring your friends, or make friends - enjoy a simple place - nothing fancy here, come as you are. Great place to stop in and have a cold one. Parking is on the street or a parking lot next door.”

“Loved this place..Food was amazing..Service was awesome..We went at almost 8 p.m at night when they were almost done serving food but they still gave the best service. We were down in Sesser camping for the weekend so knew we had to go grab a bit to eat the first night since we didn't get food that first night since we were late getting in.”

“Stopped by on a Monday, the kitchen was closed but they still had an Italian Beef lunch special. It was very good , better than I expected .

“The food was great! I had their ribeye special & Ruben sammich special for St. Patty's day. I've never had a Ruben that good even when I lived in St. Louis!!! The service was par, given there was only one waitress & one bartender. You can't be mad at that for the amount of guest they had for St. Patty's Day. It's just a hop away from Sesser, so I'll be back soon! Their pizzas are awesome as well. Wash it all down w/an ice cold stag.”

“Most of the food is okay but the fried chicken is very bad hardly any flavor and little to no chicken in it for such a high price! The mash potatoes are gross and never fresh I’ve tried it 3 times now!! I recommend saving your money and eating elsewhere.”

“It's the best cafe in Waltonville. We (and many others) drive over from Sesser because of the good food, good service, and reasonable prices. Some small ramps on the door thresholds would aid in wheelchair access.”
