“Got the seafood trio and everything came out fresh and hot and it was very good. They gave a good amount of food for the price. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of my plate when it came out but this was how much I had leftover. The place was very spotless, and beautifully decorated. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and she was very nice. All the staff we encountered were great , the service was the best that I’ve received in a long time. This is definitely a place worth checking out!”

Great views of the Benton square.Parking: Parking spots fill up quickly around the square but there are many so there's a good chance you'll find something without having to park too far away.”

“Cafe bloom is such a stunning restaurant! The blossom tea is the best tea I have ever had. My husband and I love the atmosphere of Cafe Bloom so much we just had our wedding there! They decorated so beautifully for us and made our special day perfect!”

“Heard rave reviews so we had a group of 7 get together. Kinda cramped for larger parties. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. I didn’t care for the cold spinach dip but the taste was good, just would go better warm. Might stop back again if I was in the area. Fries were meh.Parking: Was hard to find the parking lot. Sidewalk was not salted for winter ice conditions and we had a man in his late 80’s struggle from the parking lot up the block to the restaurant.”

“One of the best pies I have ever had. It is hard to believe that you can get great authentic pie from Ina but you can. Again the best pizza I have had in a long time. I live in carbondale and I go to Stl. and to Chicago and I would love to have your pizza other than what I find up there. Much love”

“When I visited Benton I had breakfast at The Cozy Table and felt like a true local! In fact they convinced me I was one! My breakfast was great and couldn’t have asked for a better nostalgic experience of small town familiarity and service. Feels like you’re at grandmas. Give them a try and you’ll feel right at home.”

“My daughter and her family invited me and my momma to have breakfast and we ate at the Plaza - food was great, service was great also ? my momma is almost 77 and I haven't seen her eat that much in a very long time - but she pigged out on sausage and eggs and pancakes and it made me happy to see her eat so good! “It's the best cafe in Waltonville. We (and many others) drive over from Sesser because of the good food, good service, and reasonable prices. Some small ramps on the door thresholds would aid in wheelchair access.”

“The staff recommended the fish on Friday night. It was ok, not a lot of flavor. Also had a double cheese burger. The bun was delicious, like home made. Burger wasn't very flavorful and a bit greasy. I wish we had tried more of their home made sides. We were just passing through so if you stop, be sure to ask for their specialties.”

My daughter had vegetable Lo Mein, my husband had the beef Lo Mein, I had a taste of them both, both were equally as delicious. I had the General Tso and thought there would be some heat to it, a little disappointed there wasn't but it was still delicious. I love crab rangoons, I couldn't taste any crabmeat in it. The portions were nice size and you can not beat the prices. Three meals, 2 drinks and a side of crab rangoons, under $40....Definitely look forward to going back”

“Not a bad bar. Spend a lot of time in here. Bathrooms are a little gross. But the bartenders are always nice and even come to the gambling machines to wait on you. There's a lot of pool tables to play on. With some minor clean up and updating it could be a really really nice bar”
