Set for 30 minutes with my husband before walking out from lack of service. We were told to seat ourselves, did and all 4 serviced walked by us without even taking our drink order. They were not even busy.

Came in from 7 hours on the road looking lunch and seeing what was local since I had another 5 hours to go. Decided on this over Subway - it was worth it. Traffic was low and the seating yourself part surprised me. I ordered the Lunch Tamale and Lunch Chimichanga. The chimichanga didn’t stand out as anything special flavor-wise despite the friendly presentation. I was hungry since I hadn’t eaten a meal since 8pm previous night.I’ve only had a standard [what I call] dry tamale with seasoned pork or chicken and corn masa on the inside. This was a wet tamale with a very tasty sauce covering the plate that didn’t overburden the flavor of the filling. The chips for the table helped compliment both dishes for cleanup.Service was nothing to call home about but friendly enough considering the place was somewhat empty.Seems like a decent spot for get in get out. Might try again for a road trip return.

Parking: May be busy and tight for spots at lunch rush or weekends.

I order a Carne Asada and the cut they gave me was of very poor choice. Carne Asada should be tender. But they sure gave me the cheapest steak they could buy and charge me an arm and leg for it. I also requested spicy salsa and they charged me for it. No other Mexican restaurant charges for spicy salsa. The rice was dry and hard like it had been on the warmer for a couple of days. Very upset to have given this place a chance as I was very unsatisfied with the food. Don't ever go eat there. Please.

Food did not taste good at ALL. The seak was very badly cut. The fiid was barely edible. They charged us for picante sauce, $1.50. Never going again.

The staff is always prompt and kind. I take the whole family and we can be a little loud and messy but they are still very friendly. Food is delicious.

Kid-friendliness: My kids love the chicken strips and fries.

Use to eat here often, wasn't sure why it has been awhile until i got my food. Ordered the nachos cancun which are usually amazing. First thing i notice is the over abundance of liquid my chips are sitting in on the plate making them horribly soggy, couldn't use them at all to eat the nachos had to take all of them off the plate and request a bowl of fresh chips .Service was amazing, our waitress was great at her job.

First impressions was that we thought the place was closed. No cars in the lot. That didn't do well to set the stage for an amazing restaurant. However, we were greeted and sat down quickly. Our server was full of smiles and spoke very well. The food was a little expensive but you don't walk out of here hungry. I had the Cancun Horseshoe, and was so full I could not eat it all. The decorations were typical of these restaurants, but it almost looked as if it hasn't changed in 30 years.

Was sad to see the Springfield location close but it's worth the short drive to Sherman to get some authentic and tasty Mexican food!
