We ended up at Fire & Ale by accident. What a surprise! My pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and onion rings was out of the world. Everyone ordered a variety and all were blown away. I told my brother we went there and he said that’s his favorite place! Bravo!!!

Was looking more for "pub" style rather than modern. Horseshoe was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend food, and beer selection was also excellent.

We where driving from Baton Rouge, La. to Madison, Wi. We were tird and hungry. While traveling seldom can someone truly make me feel as comfortable as being at home. We ran into a waitress that put us at ease, gave us the time we needed to just get our bearing, some food, and some time to just sit before returning to our trip. Somehow felt more manageable.

Traveling home and didn’t want fast food. Google reviews did not fail on this one! GREAT food! Between our party of 6 we all ordered something different. Woodfire pizza, wings, fish sandwich, kids horseshoe, wrap, & a “bowl”. There isn’t a single complaint about anything! Everything was fresh & delicious! About once a year we travel through this area! We will make sure F&A is on our list of stops.
Kid-friendliness: Finally a place that has more than chicken or a burger for choices! Loved that they took the adult options and made them “kid sized”!

Loved the food. The staff wasn't the nicest, but wasn't awful.
Love everything about this place! Great food and service. We had a party of 8 and were able to get a table as a walk-in. We got our drinks quickly and refilled when needed. Our order was broken into four bills and handled smoothly and correctly!!! I had the salmon Caesar salad and the salmon was perfect! Highly recommend and will definitely be back! ?♥️
