Every time I come the food is great, vibes are positive, and service is excellent. I had the pleasure of being served by Natani and she made the experience 10x better!! She was kind, fast, and accurate. Would come back just because of her!

Judging from the name, I expected more ambiance. Instead, we found concrete floors ( and the echo that goes with them) and bar tables and chairs. The food was good, the portions were large, the employees were cheerful and helpful, and we all left full and happy. It just wasn't what I expected.

Natani was fabulous. So attentive and the reason I’m taking time to write this review. We sat on the patio and were the only ones out there. She checked on us frequently and always made sure we felt taken care of. Truly a wonderful person!
Summer salad was delicious with the salmon cooked well done. Absolutely delicious. Mac and cheese was a little bland that my kiddo got and fries were a little crispy but oh well!

7.50 for a local draft is the most I've ever paid in the state of Illinois. Burger was on par for a bar, but I didn't taste a hint of garlic in it. Wait staff was perfect, such a shame they have to work here and not somewhere more respectable.
Music is also god awful.

Came here last Friday 4/18/25 for a birthday (6 adults, 1 child). Our waitress was fine, however everybody got their food (minus the two orders of fries we had ordered) before the toddler and I got ours. 10 minutes after everyone had started eating, my toddler got her cheese pizza. Then the fries came out but not my food.
By the time I got my food, everyone had been done eating for at least 5-10 minutes. What complicated order must I have gotten for it to take so long, you may ask?
A cheese pizza. At a pizza restaurant.
They at least comped the fries and the pizza but clearly the kitchen is missing something. People who arrived after us were getting pizza before me.
We had also requested a dessert for the birthday person but got tired of waiting. Had to track someone down to pay and left.
If you don't have at least 1.5 hours to kill just waiting, go to one of the other fantastic restaurants in Sherman.

We ended up at Fire & Ale by accident. What a surprise! My pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and onion rings was out of the world. Everyone ordered a variety and all were blown away. I told my brother we went there and he said that’s his favorite place! Bravo!!!

We where driving from Baton Rouge, La. to Madison, Wi. We were tird and hungry. While traveling seldom can someone truly make me feel as comfortable as being at home. We ran into a waitress that put us at ease, gave us the time we needed to just get our bearing, some food, and some time to just sit before returning to our trip. Somehow felt more manageable.
