The Railhouse has been around for years, and I can see why it’s a local staple, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While the atmosphere does have that classic dive bar feel, it felt a bit run-down and could definitely use some updates. The service was decent, but the bartenders seemed a bit disengaged, and the drinks were just okay, nothing special for the price. It’s fine for a quick stop if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. Would love to see some improvements in both the vibe and the drinks.

We went here, because it was wheelchair accessible, after not being able to get inside Creative Pastry down the street.Inside there are high table tops and a dimly lighting. We were the only ones there for lunch.The wait staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The worker serving us was sweet and had good menu suggestions.Food was what you might expect from a dive bar but it satisfied us for lunch. ?We got a burger basket which was decent, chicken fingers (not a fan tasted of the pre-frozen variety) and the egg rolls (very tasty but greasy)
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly for entry but high bar- height tables. If you have a wheelchair that can rise up this won’t be a problem. ?

Stopped in for lunch and the bar had such a wonderful atmosphere. Great food, I recommend the mozz bricks with bacon. They’re so addicting. The regulars are friendly. Also enjoyed playing on the slots while waiting for food. I definitely recommend if you’re in Silvis , Illinois to stop by here asap!!!

New owners!!! Great for their first big turn out for pub crawl! I think this new ownership is going to be amazing!!! I hope they change the name of the bar. No one liked it with past owners and it just needs a new vibe!!! Maybe they could do a contest taking suggested names from dedicated patrons.
