Annie's is a Skokie favorite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant was popping back about 15 years ago and had hours well into dinner time but first the economy and later the pandemic impacted its hours and the business itself. They were closed for a bit but it's good to see them re-opened. It appears that some staff are new and few but hopefully there will be more great cooks and staff applying and getting hired. I recommend for breakfast the Annie's Delight. It's a egg white omelette made with spinach and mushrooms that comes with either a side of fresh fruit or tomato slices and a small juice and either toast or English muffin. We also enjoy the silver dollar pancakes that appear to now be the size of regular pancakes. You get good portions for your money. There is eat in or take out/ pick up options.

Great to see that the Skokie location has reopened. I wanted to show my support . . . Had the Annie's Delight, an excellent healthful choice. Scrambled egg whites with spinach and mushrooms, includes fruit or tomato, English muffin or toast, and juice. Food was well executed. Service was excellent. I will be back.

This place is a gem. Don't let the name fool you--though Annie's has amazing pancakes, you will be stunned to see the variety of choices on the menu. My family recently moved to the area and we are so thrilled to live so close to Annie's! Not only is the food delicious, the portions are very generous, and the staff are the nicest people you'll ever meet. It's rare nowadays to find such genuinely friendly and personable staff. Can't wait to go back!

Was here a few times and they were ok but the last time was just horrible. My bf ordered steak and eggs and the steak arrived in a pool of water (it was gross) he took a bite and it was so salty that it was inedible so we sent it back! It came back in less water and less salt but the fork mark that he took a bite was still there!!!! They just washed it and brought it back! How disgusting is that? I asked for egg beaters and got regular eggs and when I told the waitress about it she was trying to convince me that's it's not real eggs and egg beaters! Please don't insult my intelligence when I know what it's supposed to taste like! We won't be going back.

Not a fancy place, but will do if you're looking for breakfast in a pinch. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if I was nearby and was looking for a breakfast joint, it would do. It's rather small, so I imagine it can get crowded at times. Food is okay. It's got that old fashioned, great spoon kind of feel. Servers weren't rude, servings were pretty large, and prices weren't unreasonable.

Terrible!!! We waited for 40 minutes and they started seating people that came after us with the same number of people. The older woman came out and called us a few times and then said no, not you guys and continued to say the younger woman messed up everything. When I confronted the girl with the long hair, she didn’t care. No apologies, not even a thank you for waiting. It was basically, we don’t care and if you’re hungry go somewhere else. I had kids with my that were starving and the customer service was the worst experience. If you made a mistake, say you’re sorry and accommodate. I will make sure all the social media groups knows about this as well as all of my clientele. BIG MISTAKE!

I came here based on the reviews. I wanted something simple so I ordered the two cheese omelet. It was supposed to come with Monterey jack and cheddar. Instead it came with only one cheese, American, and I don't consider that cheese. Even IHOP or Dennys offer real cheese. The biggest issue is that when the server presented the omelet, she clearly stated it was a two cheese omelet. If they were out of real cheese and let me know, I would have ordered something else. But to pass off something that is clearly not earned them the low score. I still give them two stars because their hash browns and the French toast were decent. Nothing to write home about but good. I won't be returning.

I went to Annie’s with a few friends to eat breakfast after our Finals (December 17 I believe). We were places in the booth closest to where the coffee machine is, on the far right of the restaurant. I’m sitting and eating my skirt steak omelette and I look down at my seat and see a bug crawling. IT WAS A ROACH!!!!! I take my napkin and squish it and show my friends. I’m freaking out in discussed. None of us finished our food and we went to the front to pay our bill. The older lady asked us how everything was is I said, “not so good” and showed her the napkin. She replies, “oh s***** threw the napkin away and walks away to talk to someone else from the restaurant. She comes back and says “you’re good to go.” We left and are never planning on coming back. I can’t image how dirty the back is for roaches to be living there. Roach restaurants need to be addressed!
