AWFUL experience with this theater. TRULY AWFUL. If I could go lower than 1-star, I would. I took my wife and 3-year old son to the first in-theater experience of his life for his favorite movie series (Kung-Fu Panda) & KFP#4 (90 min show). We sat in the dark for 45 minutes while the movie was delayed due to unknown reasons. The staff was slow to act, slow to communicate with patrons, didn't offer a refund of movie or concessions, etc. After 45 minutes of confession & increasingly restless kids, we were moved to a different theater. Unfortunately once the movie started, my wife had to leave to pick up our other child since we had now been at the theater for over 2 hours. The only person who showed a level of decency was a person working concessions who uttered a, "this is ridiculous...I'm so sorry". On top of it all, they directed me to the general Fandango service line to pursue a refund and after 30-45 minutes of frustrating, dead-end conversations with Fandango, turns out the only side who could process a refund was the theater itself. Great way to end my family's first outing to a movie in 4 years + son's first ever theater experience. Thank you, CMX Old Orchard!

We are a family of 6 and we drove 35 min to come to their establishment as the kids wanted to go to a true Dine in theater. I called them over 5 times en route and NO one answered. So we came only with what we saw online , advertised with false menus and completely false advertisement for Dine in movie Experience. Completely horrible service , management team has a lack of empathy towards its guests and I'm not quite sure How this movie theater is even in business. I would not recommend this place to anyone , stay away. Spent $200 + bucks literally for one of the worst experiences I have ever had. All they had to do was answer their phone to be readily available to their guests so they can answer questions. I asked the manager why don't you answer your phones and he couldn't even answer me. Again, please stay FAR AWAY from this place.

Staff were really rude. Don’t come. Manager was following us around. AMC is much better. Not coming again. I need a refund. They went through my friends bag with no concent.

This place may look nice outside but the people are so rude. They took away my food that I had to eat because it was outside bought. I had to eat it bc I got surgery. Not to mention I saw rats in the kitchen and rat feces in the bathroom.This is a horrible place don’t come.

If you buy a ticket thru their website make sure you screenshot the QR code. You might not get the email ticket and the manager will give you tons of grief like it’s your fault. Couldn’t believe the condescension.

Love the reclining, La-Z-Boy-like seats. Plenty of space. Integrated swivel trays. Food delivered to your seat. I do wish it got just a bit darker and the sounds were a touch more immersive. I don’t know if they are intentionally dialing the sound back after years of overpowering us in general but I just saw Dune 2 and would have liked Hans Zimmer’s score to have shaken my bones a little bit more. As you probably know, you buy a specific seat number which is nice because that means you don’t have to arrive early to get the seat you want.

First time at this theatre. Like others have mentioned, the seating was very comfortable & was spaced out so that I you are not touching the person next to you. The escalator was not working, so we used the stairs. Didn't eat the food based on other people's reviews. I would go again.

Update 2024: This time it was perfectly nice except that they apparently started our movie early, because we entered around two minutes after the showtime and had missed maybe 10-15 minutes of the movie.The screen and seats were nice, although the floor was filthy. Minus two stars because our movie was delayed for half an hour and we didn't get an explanation or apology.

The movie nachos were $13.99+ tax.Look at this! This is not worth $13.99.Gave me a buzzer for chips had me waiting ten minutes for this cold cheese on some cold chips. Terrible.
I went here to see a movie and use a voucher I received. The manager was super rude and said his theatre doesn't accept the voucher that can be used at any CMX location.

I have to agree with a lot of the recent reviews. Went to a Saturday matinee to see Wonka. The seats and theatre are nice but the food is absolutely horrible. Everything was cold other than a hot dog and the chicken fingers were gross. It says beer battered but it was far from that. The nachos could have been good but those too were cold and mostly covered with pico de gallo. They also charge you a fee to have your food delivered. None of this is disclosed on their website and the menu I saw looked much more extensive. The menu is actually pretty small. I would rather go to Rosemont or Cinergy in Wheeling. I'll drive extra to get warm food. Very disappointing

It’s overload but the food is terrible. And so overpriced. When this place first opened, it was different and truly luxury. Menus and servers, now it’s just nice chairs and alcohol.The place needs a deep clean and better cleaning between movies.The food is bad. The fries are serviceable but the bacon ranch toppings were gross. Chicken fingers were overcooked and had a weird seasoning. The burger sliders were so tiny. Smaller than White Castle!The bar area is dead with no ambience. This place could really be a nice alternative but it feels like it’s barely hanging on ams really sad. Service is hit or miss. Bartender was very nice. Oh and for $2.99 you can have your food delivered to you!!! lol, what’s joke for the price and quality of food.

I like the seats. Plenty of free parking available. Even the main reason for me is their sitting atmosphere and parking. The only thing which bothers me is they closed very early or they don't have late showtimes.

Its was my first time there and my friend girl recommended the place to see the Color Purple and it was nice. The seating , I love. However, there were some items on the menu that they didn't offer. I also left my scarf behind ?
