Can't believe I place runs out of breakfast food by 9:30am when that's what they serve with the scramblers (potatoes). Manager was terrible, needs extra training

Review written 12/06/2025. Went there on 12/04/2025 in the morning to pick up a mobile order of a muffin. When I arrived, staff member was confused and served me a different muffin instead of grabbing prepared order off the counter. I pointed to my order and said “is that my order?” And he ignored me and handed me the other muffin. I think he thought I was just coming in off the street to try to get free food when actually I had placed an order and it was sitting right there…. Rude and awkward experience. Please check mobile orders on counter before assuming someone is walking in trying to get food lol
But still giving a few stars bc the chocolate muffin is the best I’ve ever had
Solid experience every time we come here with good service. Store manager Marcus is very kind and checked in on us during our meal

Corner Bakery Cafe offers a reliable spot for fresh, hearty American fare with a welcoming cafe atmosphere that’s perfect for quick meals or casual meetups. The menu shines with standout items like the fluffy pancakes loaded with berries, the robust chicken pomodori panini packed with flavor, and the signature cinnamon creme cake that’s sweetly indulgent without being cloying. Soups and salads are consistently fresh, breads are baked in-house with that irresistible aroma, and the coffee selection keeps things energizing. Service is generally prompt and friendly, making it a go-to for breakfast or lunch in busy neighborhoods.
While the quality is solid for a chain, some dishes can feel a bit generic or overly portioned for the price, and peak hours often mean longer waits or crowded seating. Occasional inconsistencies, like drier baked goods later in the day or hit-or-miss seasoning on entrees, prevent it from being exceptional. It’s a dependable four-star choice for comforting cafe eats, but it doesn’t quite reach the heights of more artisanal spots—great for convenience, just shy of memorable perfection.
The food was god awful, super bland and way too expensive for what they give you. I had the farmers special and the eggs tasted bland, was given a half piece of toast, and apparently you have to remind the front desk staff that you ordered drinks.(I could have easily lied to the woman who attended me, they don’t even bother checking if you bought something.) The worst part of it was that I got food poisoning shortly after eating there.
Would not recommend.

I will say the cafe itself looks wonderful. The food wasn’t the best, it lacked flavor and tasted exactly like if it was frozen and warmed up without it being fully thawed. I will say the apple pancakes were delicious and definitely not difficult to mess up. The Farmers scrambled was not worth the nearly $20 to eat for it being half of a HALF of toast. The scrambled eggs lacked so much flavor that you couldn’t tell the difference between the potato and meat in it.
The drinks were the only promising thing about the cafe. Though you have to remind them what you ordered because they won’t look at your receipt. And kiosk won’t give you a receipt to fact check.

This is one of my lunch spots during the week. Soups and pasta with shrimp are delish.

Waited about 20-30 minutes for a crispy cheddar beef sandwich. The sandwich contained half the ingredients ordered. Hope they can resolve whatever is going on in the kitchen.
