I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding a recent experience at Hubs. As a frequent and loyal customer who has regularly enjoyed the Gyro plate, it is with considerable regret that I must bring to every one’s attention an incident that occurred during my most recent visit.
On this occasion, I was unfortunately subjected to an unacceptable level of discourtesy by the individual I understood to be the owner. When I politely attempted to address the perceived rudeness, the owner's response was to suggest that I lacked an understanding of customer service principles. This was both surprising and unhelpful, further escalating the discomfort of the situation.
Following this interaction, I requested a refund for my order. My credit card was subsequently returned to me in a manner that can only be described as abrupt and dismissive. Throughout this entire incident, it was concerning to note that no other staff members intervened or offered any form of apology or assistance.
While I fully appreciate that every individual can experience challenging days, the foundational principle of any service-oriented business is to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor towards its clientele, especially those who consistently choose to support it.
Regrettably, this experience has led me to the difficult decision that I can no longer confidently patronize an establishment where customers are seemingly not valued or treated with basic respect. It is my firm belief that businesses thrive on positive customer relationships, and a lack of appreciation for patrons is ultimately detrimental.

I thought I was picking up lunch for an elder I assist. It was for me! 🥰 Cheeseburger that tasted flame broiled and yum, non- greasy fries, delicious baklava. My favorite, friendly staff, clean place and the kind staff gave me ice cream while I waited. 🥰 Skokie location 😉

Hubs is the best, so many great items on the menu. My favorites are the Burgers and Greek Chicken.

Food is horrible like bad cafeteria food. Perch fish tastes like paste. Staff is okay but I had a five year old eating dinner and a staff member (who clearly has no children) interrupted our meal and thought it would be wise to offer him ice cream directly. She meant well but, not smart. I then had to deal with a crying child demanding ice cream. Never coming here again and don’t recommend it because the food isn’t worth it.
