My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out and it did not disappoint! We ordered taco dinners and they were delicious. Everything was freshly made and tasted great. Jose was very nice and made sure we were taken care of, great service! Overall, I will come back and bring more people to try this spot :)The location was not difficult to find, go on 3rd floor and make a left, then it’ll be on your right side.They accept quick pay & cash.

I don't write too many reviews. But holy cow, DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE. And do not judge a book by its cover. This place is nestled in a cafeteria in a business building in Skokie but holy cow, it's the best tacos I've had in the area by far, and at a fantastic price. If you're nearby the area please do yourself a favor and check this place out!!

Couldn't tell you how it was...we couldn't find it. Although there are no signs anywhere on or in the building we did have some kids tell us it was on the third floor of the building address but we looked and didn't find it. Very strange!

Lived about 5 blocks away from this place for a few decades and I can't believe I did not know about it. Had a steak burrito that was awesome and huge. And the proprietor is a nice guy. Definitely recommended and will be back.

Don’t let the old office building fool you, these are some of the best tacos I’ve had - in particular the Al pastor. Jose is super accommodating & always very friendly.

My wife, children, and I came here after an appointment I had nearby. It was a great choice. The food was great, and Jose treated us well. I ordered a taco dinner, my son had 2 quesadillas, and my wife ordered a chimicanga. The food came out fast and with high quality. I recommend this place.

If I could give it 6 stars I would. Jose makes the best mexican food I’ve ever tasted. He’s my regular spot for lunch every single Friday. I highly recommend his Chicken Tortilla Soup, he usually makes it every Friday and I can promise you it’s the best thing you’ve ever tasted. Both affordable and amazing food.

Came here when it popped up on a random "lunch near me" search. What a find! The food was DELICIOUS! Had a carnitas torta and my friend had the taco dinner. Everything was super flavorful, generous portions, and the green salsa was perfectly spicy and flavorful. Definitely going to be on my regular lunch rotation. Cash only so be aware! The owner is so nice and friendly, too. Lots of regulars which shows how good it is. And the vibe of the building is so great, very Mad Men! We will be back!
