Came in tonight and waiting a while to be acknowledged. Food took forever to come out and when it finally did, it tasted stale. Sad but I won’t give this place another try.
We went for lunch and the food was cold after we waited a very long time our server was not friendly, and we practically had to hail her just to get some water
Food is not as expected at all
My family and I dined here on a Sunday evening and it was reasonably busy, but we didn't have a line to order and found seating and parking easily. Ordering and picking up food is done at the counter, but everyone is super friendly and helpful. I got the Bay Ken Mushroom burger, which was huge and perfectly cooked. The fries were fresh and super good. I also got a non dairy milkshake which was fine. My only problem was that most of the fountain sodas were out. It was a good meal at a normal price for kosher meat meals. I would visit here again.

I took my son for lunch and it was fun. The host and hostess are very gracious. The hamburgers were excellent. I would have asked for mine deconstructed because everything was falling out as I tried to eat it. But I am funny like that. The onion rings were good. The spicy fries were good. The regular fries were a little bit uninspiring. We had a great time.

Great place. Reminded me of old school delis like Essex with generous portions, delicious food, vintage decor, and a staff that somehow retain their friendliness and enthusiasm in spite of working a customer-facing job daily. Able to accommodate gluten-free needs. Really a pleasure to visit. Will absolutely return when we are in Chicago again.

You haven't experienced kosher Chicago if you don't stop at Ken's!
Staff was wonderful. Italian beef and popcorn chicken were delicious. High chairs for kiddos.

Ken’s is a Chicagoland institution. Fun for the whole family and delicious, accessible food for all. It’s rare to have Kosher food that isn’t expensive and is also delicious. They’ve got great French fries, chicken soup, burgers, hot dogs, etc., and some fun games for the kids. Love the booths and welcoming vibes.
Great food, and service! Definitely coming back!

I so enjoy the barbeque beef! The best kosher restaurant to take people new to Chicago, it is a museum of Chicago. There is over 15 kosher restaurants in the Chicago area, this one I always tell people to try.
