Nordstrom Cafe Old Orchard

Ate here recently. Server just dropped off drinks and went to hide out in the bathroom for 30 min. He was missing one of our drinks and I had to flag down 4 different workers to help us. Each person said they would help but didn't. One even said it's not her table and walked away. Server is not attentive and on his phone sitting at a booth not even bothering to check in with us the entire time. I'm had to ask for refills. Dining here was absolutely not a pleasant experience.

Amazing salads and very friendly service!

Everyone is very nice. The food is really good. I really like the tomato soup and chopped salad with chicken. Jay is a great server .

A clean quiet place to get a nice lunch. The food quality is very surprisingly good. Very tasty. Great service, especially jay. Only reason for 4 stars is prices just a little high. But once again service and food quality very high.

I have just had the most frustrating and unfortunate experience with this store. ordered a dress by phone and was told it could be delivered to our hotel fedex overnight. The dress arrived three days later, $500 charged and too late for my use. After several phone calls, the store manager has informed me that although they are sorry for my misfortune, they cannot help me unless I figure out how to deal with the hotel and fedex and get the dress back to them. I was blithely( polite but curt) told they were sure the concierge could handle this for me. Although this was in no way my fault and I paid for express shipping. The moral of the story is do not pay for and expect express shipping and if you do, and it goes badly, you are on your own and do not expect Nordstroms to assist you. Their famed customer service is sadly a thing of the past.

My mother and I went to order a lavender latte, and after our first sip of coffee, we notified our barista that there was no lavender. The barista avoided eye contact and after a couple of minutes, without an apology, said she would add a pump of lavender to our drinks. After a few more sips, there was no lavender taste again. Very rude service and expensive coffee that taste very bad. It’s disappointing that I would rather drive to the Oak brook location 30 minutes away for great service and drinks just because this one, only 15 minutes away, is unwelcoming to their customers.
