There was a time we family use to love Ruby of Siam but went there after some time hoping the food as good better. We don’t mind paying $17 each for lunch special. The appetizer, soup & the entree all came at once. The food was tasteless, the meat was undercooked, the atmosphere was kind of tensed, with the serious faces, overall it was a terrible experience. I still gave a decent tip to the server, can’t blame her although so could have been little nicer in the beginning but than I guess she realized something is wrong when saw all the food left & we not even asking for a doggy bag. I should have thought twice why the restaurant was empty at lunchtime. I would suggest not to waste your money.

THE place for Thai food in Skokie!
I ordered the tofu pad thai and lime chicken. Highly recommend these two dishes.
The lime chicken is nice and crispy and comes with a good amount of rice (in a fancy silver container). The pad thai is standard and always a solid pick. I just wish they put more peanuts in it!

Terrible experience! The woman — not sure if she was a waitress or a hostess — was extremely rude. She yelled at me for no reason and treated me with no respect at all. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I’m never coming back and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.👎🏻

A Ruby in the rough. I'm just getting a haircut down the block and decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavors. Staff was very friendly and patient. The Pad Kra Pao was sweet and spicy 👍Wife also pleased 😃

Good customer service and good food for decent prices.
This place is so good and a nice surprise in the strip mall. I've come here a few times by myself just to have dinner and read, or work on things. It's such a cozy environment, and the food is so good. There's so much on the menu I'd love to try, and haven't yet, but the noodle dishes I've gotten in the past are some of the best. The staff is all so friendly, and the food always comes out pretty quick. I live on the south side, so don't make it here often, but when I'm in the neighborhood, it's always a favorite place to stop :)

Delivered to my workplace and didn't come with any forks or napkins. Ordered medium spiciness, and it felt like someone poured lava directly on my food. Wasn't that enjoyable
