The food was very solid and exceeded our expectations. The restaurant was quite busy, as it was late on a Saturday evening. Even so, the service was slow and staff often seemed to not be communicating well. Everyone was polite, but efficiency could use improvement.
Following my experience with Ken's Diner & Grill, I discovered Sarah's Brick Oven listed within the 'People also viewed' section of its yelp page. Out of several other restaurants listed, Sarah's was the only one that captured my interest, plus it was a restaurant that I had not visited before in Skokie.

I am writing this review a bit late. We came here a while ago so I don't know if anything changed. But when we went it was great stuff. It was a long wait, but definitely worth while. I will come back soon forsure!
