I ordered the double Bacon & Cheddar Burger and fries. The burger was delicious and one of the best I tasted in a long time. The Angus beef used in the burger was moist and had natural fresh flavor. The special TBI sauce was just right. The service behind the counter and cook were courteous. They were accommodating and friendly. I wish there was another That Burger Joint in Gurnee area. Definitely, I must return to this Skokie location. Highly recommended!

Burger so drowned in bbq sauce it was impossible to eat without a spoon. Fries tasted old and soda was flat. Ended up throwing the whole thing out and going to Steak and Shake. Won’t make the mistake of going here twice.

The place has great potential but it needs a deep cleaning tables have crumbs from past visitors that ate at the location the floors are very sticky the trash can area has trash and crumbs all ontop of the bin for the location and the menu price and even the name oberwise being in the same location I would think it would be cleaner as I’m writing this review I got up to get my order and my shoes made this loud sticky noise when I walked to get my meal

Walked into restaurant wasnt greeted not acknowledged, looked at staff they said nothing so i walked out. Will not visit burger joint again poor customer service.
Got a burger, milkshake and fries. While the fries and shake were good, the burger was beyond disappointing... it was overcooked, dry, and had one measly piece of bacon. For a $10 burger (and from a place called "That Burger Joint"), it was bad. Seriously, I would have been happier with something from Burger King or McDonald's - and that's saying a lot.(Ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger)

I stopped in since I was getting Oberweis products. Nothing special about the burger. When I opened up the burger it looked like everything was just smashed together. It wasn't even close to looking like the burger picture they had on the counter as I placed my order. Two young guys were behind the counter. No customer service skills at all, and obviously they didn't know how to make a decent burger. I won't be going back and I don't recommend this place.
