Burger so drowned in bbq sauce it was impossible to eat without a spoon. Fries tasted old and soda was flat. Ended up throwing the whole thing out and going to Steak and Shake. Won’t make the mistake of going here twice.

The place has great potential but it needs a deep cleaning tables have crumbs from past visitors that ate at the location the floors are very sticky the trash can area has trash and crumbs all ontop of the bin for the location and the menu price and even the name oberwise being in the same location I would think it would be cleaner as I’m writing this review I got up to get my order and my shoes made this loud sticky noise when I walked to get my meal

That burger joint shares the space with Oberwise. Since the ice cream crave was kicking in, I decided to get a burger and fries. It was around 4:30 pm , no visible customers in the restaurant. The counter looked a bit messy.... the only employee in sight was restocking cutlery. I asked politely if they were open and the employee didn't even bother to turn and answered "yah, what you want?". That rude attitude and the sad fries sitting in a basket above the oil, were enough reason not to get any food from there. Not gonna return any time soon .

Got a burger, milkshake and fries. While the fries and shake were good, the burger was beyond disappointing... it was overcooked, dry, and had one measly piece of bacon. For a $10 burger (and from a place called "That Burger Joint"), it was bad. Seriously, I would have been happier with something from Burger King or McDonald's - and that's saying a lot.(Ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger)

Sorry Jennifer but there is nothing you can do to change the experience I had. I suggest you work on improvements to give the customer a better experience. Maybe one day I'll stop in again to see if any changes have happened. I will then post an update to my original review.

I stopped in since I was getting Oberweis products. Nothing special about the burger. When I opened up the burger it looked like everything was just smashed together. It wasn't even close to looking like the burger picture they had on the counter as I placed my order. Two young guys were behind the counter. No customer service skills at all, and obviously they didn't know how to make a decent burger. I won't be going back and I don't recommend this place.

That burgers were reasonably priced and the patty is a bit cold when served but could be the fries ? took a bit longer to cook and they serve everything we ordered at the same time.The chicken tenders were hot and the meat was not dry. We liked the bbq dip.Overall the burgers for the price is decent and the truffle fries had generous truffle cheese atop.It is a nice snack before Oberweiss right at the same shop.Vegetarian options: Fries ? then ice cream or shake Kid-friendliness: Snack before ice cream ? pretty inventive setup next to Oberweiss

$24 for two small hamburgers and one order of room temperature fries. The place was empty on Friday evening at 6:00. I could never go back. The McDonald's across the street is packed.

I can't resist trying a burger joint in any city. I found this one on the north side of Chicago as I was headed back to my hotel. I was a little worried when I pulled up to the restaurant, and there were no cars in the lot. The place picked up business quickly once I ordered and sat down. The burger was good, and the fries were good. The ice cream shop it is connected to has a great shake! FYI
