We’re from out of town. Our last night in Chicago we found this place. We absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. Didn’t know they only had 1 location, I love supporting local small businesses. Keep up the good work!!

Super clean, well run, amazing deal (I mean you, $1 oysters). Fun, yummy, good quality of shellfish. Nice and efficient staff- thank you Ulysses for making our first trip great. Our 9 year old asked to go back tomorrow.

Visited for the first time and we did carry out. WOW!!!!!!!! My taste buds haven't been this happy for a long time. We ordered online for a 7 pm pickup and got there exactly on time. My wife was in and out of the store so fast, I didn't even have time to turn the car off. We got home and I did a quick reheat of the hush puppies and chicken wings as it's about a twenty minute ride home. I didn't want to take a chance reheating the shrimp and oysters we got, so as not to overcook, and actually, they were just fine without doing so. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I just wanted to lick whatever sauce was left off the plate! The shrimp were delectable! Absolutely perfectly cooked. Next time, and there will certainly be a next time, we will eat there.

Went in on a Friday night and this place was packed. We had to wait 45 minutes but it was so worth it. The food comes out fast and tastes amazing. The fried fish is a must every time we come here. It's super soft and has so much flavor. I love the Cajun fries it comes with... Super crispy and has a unique flavor. The seafood boil bag is completely customizable to your liking down to flavor and spice level. This place has good music and good vibes. I love that you can bring beer or wine. The service customer can be better. The waitress only came once to our table. We had to flag her down for refills on our soda and ask for more sauce. Then I went home and notice they charged my debit card twice .. my bill and someone else's .. they never told me that they made that mistake. So I give the service a 3/5 and the food 5/5.

This review is WAY overdue. EVERYTHING from food to service to ambiance to cleanliness and more are all amazing. Never had a bad experience and we've come here countless times for years and even have brought friends. One cool smooth dude is Ulysses. He is one of my favorite people who goes above and beyond, but let me say no one that works there is any less amazing. I talk to them all and really enjoy our interactions. We always leave feeling great with big smiles on our faces and bellies full of nothing but seafood deliciousness. You simply cannot go wrong here. I love you all at The Boiler Shrimp & Crawfish! Looking forward to our next visit.

Our first time in, was pretty good. They didn't have crawfish tonight (supply issue) so we got shrimp and clam boils. Both were cooked well, we got Cajun spice and it was nice but think I will try trifecta (all a three spices) next time. We will be back.

We found The Boiler about two years ago and have been enjoying it ever since. The food is amazing. Try mixing the marinades. Try whatever your server suggests. Wear clothes expecting to get messy. It's BYOB with one nominal $5 fee. I can't speak highly enough about the food or the staff. We have done take out - it's not as much fun. Eating in is the best experience!Dietary restrictions: If you're gluten or dairy free you'll be fine here. Can't have the noodles or fritters but this place isn't about carbs - get a bag of shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, and crab and you'll be happy as a clam!Parking: It's in a strip mall so at the right time of day there will be plenty of spaces. Occasionally I have to park on the side street. Not a big deal.

Soooooo yummy! If you're looking for a sea food boil in a bag this is it. I really enjoyed getting all full of butter.

Gumbo was disgusting!! There was not a single piece of meat, I noticed one bean, overly spicy, overcooked, and seemed like it was yesterday's food. Highly don't recommend it. Very disappointed and wasted a cheat meal.

The boiler was so delicious. While the service could have been a bit more attentive, the food did not disappoint. I got the king crab seafood boil as well as the a fried shrimp and fries basket. Everything was so flavorful. The fried shrimp was especially a stand out for me. I would definitely come back considering the limited number of seafood boil places in the area. This place lived up to the hype.
