I stopped by Tortazo’s at Old Orchard Mall and I can’t say how much I really enjoyed this meal. I ordered the Shrimp Dorados Style Tacos and they were marvelous. I’ve had from all around the Chicago area and hands down these were the best. I took the time to ask the chefs name who prepared this did and I want to give a shot out to Jose. Thank you for the wonderful experience. See you soon!!!

The food is really nothing special and it’s not best. The entire menu is overpriced. $4 for a jarrito? Be so for real with yourself. Overall won’t be going back. The salad was missing something. There are way better Mexican food options. Kinda expected more for the price.

Ridiculous prices for chips and guac that are somehow worse than store bought, and come in small portions. For all the quality Mexican food out there this is not worth the effort it takes to walk into the restaurant, much less the money. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Too noisy. Nothing absorbs ambient sound. Music too loud. Why does there need to be a big distracting video monitor? My car dealership’s waiting area has better atmosphere.

I frequent Old Orchard shopping center quite often but rarely stay to dine due to subpar experiences in the past…& let’s be honest, if you’ve had one overpriced fast food burger, you’ve had them all! I came in for a late lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon and was greeted by Antonio who convinced me that the Baja chicken tacos were the way to go; & boy was he right! Fresh, flavorful and delicious. I sat for awhile on the patio and two separate employees came out to see if I needed anything, one of which was the manager, and the most personable employee, Terry. In a time where customer service is near extinct, Tortazo employees really stand out! 10/10 across the board!

Overpriced and won’t even give you a cup of water with your food. No water per corporate says the manager. Well, I have cancer and can’t drink your over priced sugar drinks. Won’t be returning since every other place in the mall offers free water with my meal.

Very disappointed beef torta,lil beef,plenty of arugula,a couple grilled onion n rajas, peekaboo avocado, Maybe I was expecting a Mexican version ( which is not) sorry but being honest just plain plain. For 16 bucks

So happy to have Rick Bayless back in the skokie area. Food was amazing and Antonio at the front was so helpful and was able to speak about the menu perfeclty. I will be back for sure!
