This place is my go-to Thai food spot after moving to the area. I've tried so many different ones and I think Tub Tim Thai makes the best food around. They are also always very friendly. I am gluten sensitive and they are always willing to accommodate.

I have seen some complaints about the food taking a long time to be made however I have never had this issue but at the same time I would rather wait for fresh food knowing it's being carefully crafted than have reheated food.

The place was empty and it took forever to get our food. After the satay I asked for the rest to go since we had somewhere we needed to be. The satay was average and the sauce was chunky with peanuts. It was too chunky and didn't stick to the chicken. It was bland and very disappointing.

The flavor is good or maybe a little salty. And the chef should mind not to leave egg shells into the bowl, or otherwise they would harm my teeth

Absolutely love this local spot. Reasonable prices and incredibly good food. I recommend the pad kee mao with level 1 spice. Chicken potstickers are also great.

This place is the most authentic Thai food I’ve had in Chicago. Make sure to ask for a spice tray with your meal, it has such great flavors!

Family owned and run. Our server was son of the owners. Mother who was cooking came out to see if everything was okay and to say hello. Things like that coupled with superb food Just make this restaurant a joy to go to.

Dietary restrictions: They can easily accommodate gluten-free requests

Parking: Might have to walk a half a block but that's about the furthest you might have to go before you can find a spot

Wheelchair accessibility: Always level on ground floor so easy to get in there with a wheelchair

Be prepared to wait well over an hour for your food. This was dine in, can't imagine pickup. Food was good otherwise. Waitress could have been nicer and helpful but was not.

We live around the corner. The food here is top notch! The Pad Kee Mao especially is my go to order. It is packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. I could this every day! Try it!

Food was decent, but false advertising on menu for the clay pot fried rice with crab. Said its serves two but was definitely a portion size for one. Buyer beware.

While this is sort of a "nothing special" kind of place, they don't make any serious mistakes either. They were not just willing to adjust heat levels for each dish, but rather they expected to and asked about preferences during the order process. We were a somewhat large group, six, and all points in the spice spectrum were represented and catered to. We had a vegetarian at the table as well as some sensitive to food allergies and they were completely accommodating. As long as you are looking for "American Thai", you won't be surprised but you won't be disappointed either.

Vegetarian options: They were quite open about making just about anything into a vegetarian-acceptable dish. And there was no question they understood what that meant

Parking: This part of Skokie, which doesn't really have a "downtown", has quite a lot of free street parking. We ended up literally across the street from the restaurant in spite of it being prime lunch time.

A bit pricier compared to other Thai places in the area but a much better quality and taste.
