We were in Skokie looking for somewhere to eat some Mexican food and found this place. The food was so delicious! The staff was Amazing and we enjoyed their interactions... I think the people rating less than 4 stars are the same ones that say Taco Burrito King is delicious.. yuk, don't trust them. I'm Mexican and grew up in a Mexican household. Verde Avocado is the CLOSEST Mexican food that actually taste like home. Authentic zesty flavors, authentic salsas, authentic/best Horchata I've had. I order from this place at least once a week. Service is always great and staff takes pride in their restaurant.

This place is fairly new, but has been around for a while, not sure what took us so long to come! The best steak burrito I've had, and I have tried a lot of them. My husband had the quesadilla plate and an el pastor taco, and he said it was the best he's had as well. He is a picky eater too so that's saying alot. The service was amazing, the waitress was sweet. It was so well priced, we paid less then we would have at a Mexican fast food chain. Will be coming back as our go to spot for Mexican food.

Walked in at 925pm. I asked if it was to late to dine in and was told no. Ordered and served by 935 wow great! 942pm the waitress comes over hands me my bill, looks at her watch and says we close in 8min? Why let me order in if your going to rush me out? Couldn't tell if the food was good as this left at bad taste.

We often get takeout (via DoorDash) from here - the order has always been correct - we like the Carne Asada Tacos, the Pork and Chicken Tamales, and the Clili Reylano (?) Tacos - the food has always been fresh and tasty - I recommend this
