We catered my daughter’s bridal shower from Zad’s and could not have been more pleased with everything. From the moment I spoke with the manager to the actual event, everything was perfect. We ordered salmon, tawouk chicken, rice, hummus, vegetable stew, dessert and more. Every single thing was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Zad’s!

This is the original Pita Inn location. You still order at the counter and pick up your food. Food is good and they have some different menu options to Pita Inn restaurant west on Dempster, but I prefer the original Pita Inn. Small parking lot and small dining area that is simple and clean.

I highly recommend the Impossible Kefta. It tasted so much like meat, that I double checked the receipt to make sure they hadn’t gotten my order wrong. The spices were on point. Portion sizes are on the larger side, which could be a pro or con depending on you preferences. The food is good though and the prices are reasonable. Will be back.Vegetarian options: Impossible Kefta, Falafel, etc.

The service was pretty good. The reception lady is very friendly and even allowed me to try one of their appetizers before purchasing, which I thought was very nice. It seemed like she upset the manager when she did this but she’s actually a pretty good business person because as a customer, if I like the food, that’s the way to keep me coming back without a risk to me Smart business moves, but AnyWho I digress. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the Shawarma. I thought that the meat was dry the bread was not authentic. It tasted like a tortilla Mexican flower wrap the food just really wasn’t all that I was really expecting the food to be amazing. Based on the reviews and appearance not bad not the worst but definitely not the best.

I love getting food from here. The taste is great. And it's one of the few places I can find that have mujadara. Lately it's been a bit inconsistent with ordering in. Specifically the last two times I've gotten the hearty veggie combo once I was missing a piece of falafel and another time the onions were missing. Onions missing was so disappointing because that's what makes mujadara so good! Without them it's just rice with a splattering of lentils. However, when they get the food right this is my go to place.

We love Zad. My partner is there almost every Friday. He always brings me a platter back. So it is a weekly event. The food is really good and they are pretty consist. I went with him this time. I wish I had taken a photo.

Staff here is so nice and knowledgeable! The rice with veggies is outstanding. They also sell falafel dough! Their falafel is some of the best around.

I still prefer the original Pita Inn (maybe out of comfort and nostalgia more than anything?) but this place also has solid food. I've had some really great lamb options here and I don't usually like lamb. All of their sides are delicious.

I really like this place for Middle Eastern food. I often explored different dishes although I never know what I'm ordering. The outcome is always good. Stop by the Dempster Street location. You won't be disappointed.

If you’re going to finish off your dips and certain dishes with olive oil, make sure it’s a good, properly stored pure olive oil. It’s obvious you guys use a mix (I’m guessing sunflower) which is fine for cooking but not for finishing. It tastes cheap and old and adds nothing to a hummus or baba ghanoush except rancid oiliness.
