I would never order my sandwich online again. This is the second time I've spent 24 dollars and they messed up my order. The first time I ordered a pizza sandwich with no mushrooms, bacon and toppings. They kept the mushrooms, didn't add bacon and there were none of the toppings I wanted. I just ordered a big Italian with extra cheese and bacon, and extra toppings, I didn't get any of that. Their online service really sucks.

I had a problem about employee. His name is Will. He was not working clean and also very rude to me.

Unfortunately, my experience at Potbelly’s was marred by the rude behavior of one of the employees( Will). Despite the great product/service, the employee's attitude was off-putting and unwelcoming. I hope the company takes steps to address this issue and provide better training for their staff or fire him!

The staff was friendly and helpful. But...everything looks like it's never been wiped down. I needed a high chair for our infant, and it was absolutely disgusting with crusted food all over it. The pop tasted metallic and gross.

Had to move tables twice. Very sticky and caked with past meals. Lots of staff around. Tell them to spray and wipe them down.

Great service, fairly clean, ordered a roast beef big, I had to pull all the roast beef off the sandwich it was chewy and I couldn’t even bite through it, not sure if it was the end of cuts but man it was gross chewy and super fatty, roast beef is supposed to melt in your mouth and pull apart I couldn’t even rip it apart with my hands.

So I placed an online order and made two separate orders, one accidentally went to Algonquin because my work is closer to Algonquin location and I didn't catch that for my second order that I placed. I called Algonquin and asked them to cancel my order there and i will place another order at South Barrington location. Anyways long story short, boys at South Barrington location were really nice, understood the issue and made both of my orders quickly without a wait and were also kind enough to accommodate the perk price I had originally paid via app. Over all am really happy with the service. Refund from online transaction might take a while, which i understand but wanted to acknowledge the kindness the boys showed towards my issue. Thank you once again. I wasn't asked for any reviews or anything but I think they deserve a shout-out. Thanks

I would say 100% make sure to order in-person. I don’t eat Potbelly often it’s more of an occasional thing if I’m near by but every single time the mobile order is wrong. It’s also not like they’re missing 1 ingredient or something it’s always the weirdest things. This most recent time we ordered a Cubano - there was NO meat in it?? We also ordered a Chicken Club - there was NO chicken in it?? Just doesn’t make any sense. Plus, every time we go back in and say what we’re missing it’s almost as if it’s such a burden for them to fix it. Get new management ☹️

This is now the second time I've received the wrong sandwich/order for pickup... I don't have time to tell a worker since I just grab and go for work. This potbelly needs to shut down app ordering. The wait times and accuracy is not good.
