I absolutely love the cupcake smash concept- being able to put ice cream and cupcake into a concoction. However, the cupcakes were too soft and crumbly in my opinion- I like the denser Molly's version. I liked the cream cheese icing on my peanut butter chocolate cupcake though and loved the pumpkin ice cream and snickers ice cream. Would definitely come back for the ice creams and to try other flavor cupcakes!

After eating at a nearby restaurant, my husband and I went to Smallcakes for dessert. They had a large selection of cupcakes to pick from. They also have ice cream. You can get ice cream scoops or combine the ice cream with a cupcake and make a milkshake out of it. We picked the chocolaholic and mango coconut cupcakes. The chocolaholic was delicious with a chocolate cake base, chocolate frosting, and chocolate curls on top. The mango coconut cupcake was very disappointing. There was very little mango or coconut flavor in the cupcake. Smallcakes got one of two cupcakes right but did not want to make me go back for more.

A visit to Smallcakes never disappoints! Our family favorites are red velvet, wedding cake, carrot, and vanilla chocolate. The special holiday flavors are equally good.When I visit, I try to go earlier in the day as they can possibly run out of my favorites around closing time.Although the cupcakes here have a lot more frosting than I prefer, the cake part is always extremely moist and fresh. I have tried several flavors of Smallcakes and never tasted one I did not like yet.I love that you can order ahead for parties or pick up a special "pup cake" for your four-legged babies. It is conveniently located near Calibre' Coffee, so I can also stop and get one of my favorite lattes or iced drinks too.

It’s a small business so I see the same couple workers every time I go and sometimes the remember my regular order :) I also LOVE the email process for custom ordering because it’s a direct line to the baker instead of through the cashiers like it used to be so there’s less miscommunication. Contrary to another review, they reply very fast and have bent over backwards to make cakes for me, the only exception being December 2022 since their baker was on honeymoon.

Smallcakes is our go-to for tasty cupcakes! They're decorated so cute and taste yummy! (Red velvet and pink vanilla are our fav's!) They have 14 signature flavors consistently but then every week (or month?) they feature 3 different cupcakes that are either seasonal or different than the usual variety. They also do custom cakes for a great price. They made my son's cake this past summer and it looked and tasted great! And when the summer finally returns (can't come soon enough!) they have really tasty, creamy ice cream flavors! I think they make cake shakes too but we haven't tried them yet! Definitely go check them out!
