Pizzas were late. Driver got lost. I understand how it goes as I use to deliver when I was young. I felt bad for the kid and gave a 20.00 tip. Then he almost left the pizza bag afterwards. We got in the house, opened the pizzas up and both were dropped at some point. Pizzas were mushed all the way to one side and inedible... Horrible that he did not tell us that happened when we gave him a 20$ tip.. Very rude and dishonest. The kid seemed very nervous and in a hurry, we see why now.. Called the place and they said they would speak to management and call back. No call back. Will be going in there today for full refund.

It's pretty sad and also pretty telling when the bartender offers to buy our entire meal because the son of the owner is too busy socializing instead of cooking.

We ordered a double dough pizza. The place was NOT busy and yet it took over a half hour to get a football shaped, non-double dough pizza with the wrong toppings. After the bartender reluctantly dropped the pizza at our table, we looked at the football and didn't touch it. We thought she brought us the wrong pizza. She returned quickly, knowing it wasn't ok, and offered to cover our bill while we waited for another one. She said she has had multiple problems with the owners son not taking the business seriously.

We decided not to wait for another pizza and just wanted to pay for our appetizer so we could tip her, as we didn't bring cash. Then the owners son comes over and tells us that there is nothing wrong with the Pizza but still offered to make another one while we waited.

Here was the kicker. He thought it was a good idea to tell us he was the owners son, and that we were wrong about the pizza and that it was indeed a double dough crust, when it very clearly wasn't AND had the wrong toppings on it.

Sorry guys. But the fact that THE OWNERS SON is a part of that operation means we won't be going back.

I booked a party here a few weeks ago. It was for 20-25. The owner I spoke was super nice when booking and gave me all the info I needed. I was so excited. Party day arrived. I was a wreck and nothing was going the way I had planned . Nothing to do with the restaurant just outside things including only 6 people showing up. I had pre ordered 6 large pizzas that we didn’t obviously need that many. They were already cooked and came out before people arrived. Due to my planning wrong. Everyone went above and beyond and was more than accommodating. They remade the pizzas at no charge when the guests that came did arrive. I was in tears and overwhelmed but the way everything was handled helped relieve some stress and anxiety. Definitely recommend and will be coming back to host another event here in the future! Oh yeah and pizza was beyond amazing according to my son with autism who is picky with pizza lol 🤣

Place was packed, 2 parties happening. One server and 2 bartenders. Drinks took a long time for table service and so did the food. Understandable with one server. Our of initial order so ordered fish fry with potato pancakes. Tarter sauce was basically just mayo and pancakes tasted burnt. Requested apple sauce, came with mold. Asked for a manager and was told one was not on duty. That could explain the very loud music (it was only 6:30) and extreamly messy bathrooms.

Such a great bar and good food! Sam Is my favorite bartender! She’s always so attentive whether it’s crazy busy or a slower time! She always makes customers feel seen and their needs met! Definitely will be back!!

I attended Saylor Micks for a surprise 50th birthday party! Everything was super great! Drake the chef was incredible! Pizza was great!! Later on, we were all hungry after the kitchen had just closed and he offered to make us a couple things to hold us over! This made the experience! We were then able to stay and keep drinking for another hour at least! The French fries were no bar fries… freshly cut and seasoned!! Sammi the bartender was incredible! Great company :) would recommend this place to all friends and family!!

Pretty Good!
We had been here about a year ago and had their Broasted Chicken Dinner and remembered it was very good so we stopped in a couple more times this past month. It's a very large sports bar theme space sitting at one corner of a strip mall on Rt. 12. Pool tables, a large bar, big screen TV's and the usual gambling machine area. On one visit, we had the Italian Beef Egg Rolls as an appetizer ($9.25). Their own Italian beef with mozzarella cheese and giardiniera rolled in an egg roll wrapper, deep fried and (2) served with side au jus. Excellent Italian beef flavor, tender, thin sliced and seasoned like a true Chicago beef. The giardiniera was a little too hot for my wife so I had to finish them. I'm sure they could leave out the giardiniera if asked. On that visit we both had burgers and they were very good, but the bun did not hold up well from the juiciness of the burger. $2.75 twelve ounce Miller Lite on tap is a pretty good value. Signs all over the place advertise their daily specials and $7 Italian Beef Sandwiches on Sunday ($11.25 regular menu price) drew our attention, especially after trying the egg rolls. So we stopped in on a Sunday. The beef sandwich was amazing! Piled high with the tasty Italian Beef on the perfect roll. I asked for the hot giardiniera and my wife had sweet peppers. I had fries, my wife got a side salad. Our server asked if we wanted cheese on the sandwich, we said no, but we both got it anyway. My wife had them remake her sandwich - no cheese and I just ate mine. The side salad is huge, plenty of crisp greens and goodies for two people to share. The fries were tasty when first brought out as they were super hot. They are not twice fried to make them extra crispy so they got pretty soggy as they cooled off. As our pictures show, this is a monster of a sandwich and we each brought home half to enjoy the next day. As for the $7 deal, the sandwich itself is $7. Then I think you add $1 for giardiniera or peppers, another $5 or so for fries, maybe another $1 for cheese and not sure what they charge for the side salad. The servers don't tell you any of this so ask or be surprised. We will make this our Italian Beef spot!

Went in on a Tuesdsy night ordered their tacos and nachos (which was the nightly special) waited for 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Finally got our drink ordwr and placed our food order. Waited another 30 minutes and the only thing that came out were the nachos. Waited another hour for the tacos and they never came. We finally paid for what we did receive and left. Waited for 2 hours for 2 beers and nachos.
