I waited a week to post this review because I wanted to be sure I felt the same way one week later, and well I do so here we are. I pulled up at approx 8 PM on a week night ordered my food was flabbergasted that the prices for a drive thru only restaurant were higher than sit down Mexican restaurants. I waited nearly 30 minutes for a chimichanga, a chile releno & Chips and salsa. The food was absolutely FLAVORLESS. Nothing had flavor like no seasonings used. NO LOVE IN THIS FOOD!!! They did have little containers of hot sauce and salsa verde I do not know if homemade but the hot sauce was the best part. I dipped my chips in that cuz the salsa… also flavorless. You can not charge sit down restaurant prices in a drive thru. Make people wait longer than a sit down restaurant, serve sub par at best food & expect to get good reviews. I will stick to Laguna Brava & Xochimilco. I am convinced that it only survives due to lack of options in that area.

Delicious food, good portion sizes, nice specials, and fair prices! The wait can be long, but the food is definitely worth it. You can place an order for pick-up to avoid the wait.

Hands down the best and most authentic Mexican food I've had in Springfield. I used to live in San Diego and would have Mexican food trucks come by my squadron with breakfast burritos. I have been looking for a long time to find something equivalent to what I could get in California. The first time I got food here I realized I had found it. Life changing moment. I go here at least twice a week and have never been disappointed. Their Carne Asada burrito is AMAZING. Also, try their hibiscus drink. It is just as good as anything I used to get when I lived in Guatemala.

The meat wasn’t very fresh the drive through is tight and they barley speak English

Love this place, honestly some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The service is a bit slow but it's worth the wait. Their steak burrito is one of the best in central Illinois. Just the right amount of spice. The fried tacos are also 🔥🔥🔥🔥 something they season the meat with will leave your mouth watering wanting more. Highly recommend!

Food is always hot and fresh cooked to order flavor and food are always consistent. The amount of food you get for a reasonable price makes this place even more of a reason to like it
