First time in was during the Springfield Mile races 2024 and then again for the same event 2025. My first ever horseshoe (pork tenderloin) was so good I almost cried (2024). I heard from a fella that the tomato bisque soup was ALSO destination worthy... he wasn't lying.....(2025). Give this place a go, you will not be disappointed.

Overall great experience. Food is fairly priced and came out quite quick. Would highly recommend a horseshoe or ponyshoe with a pork tenderloin.

My Hamburger was a frozen patty and my coleslaw had a funny taste like it was old not fresh, my friends spaghetti was all watery. Our waitess was very slow. The pipes that are showing in the ceiling have dust on them that should be cleaned once a week. I can imagine what the Kitchen looked like! Also no hand soap in the bathroom just hand sanitizer.

It really seems like a locals' choice. The food was ok but definitely seemed like canned or frozen warm ups. Sandwiches looked good but we wanted an evening meal. Hubby got a pulled pork dinner- had a big chunk of gristle. The sides he chose were potato salad that was very bland and applesauce ( how can you mess that up). I chose the shrimp stir fry. It had about 5 shrimp and a vegetable medley that was mostly cauliflower. Passable but lacked crisp freshness. Dessert was the winner- cherry cobbler with a scoop of ice cream - delicious! I would probably return if in the area. Server was spot on and very personable.

We had a large group of 9 and food was all brought out at same time and all hot. Food was good and service was great. All the staff worked well together and helped out!

Had a family gathering there. The food was fantastic, the service amazing, and the atmosphere was such that we were a little loud, but nobody minded.

Great little pub with a lot of historical decor of the area. Food is on par with a lot of other pubs in the area.
