First time in was during the Springfield Mile races 2024 and then again for the same event 2025. My first ever horseshoe (pork tenderloin) was so good I almost cried (2024). I heard from a fella that the tomato bisque soup was ALSO destination worthy... he wasn't lying.....(2025). Give this place a go, you will not be disappointed.
It really seems like a locals' choice. The food was ok but definitely seemed like canned or frozen warm ups. Sandwiches looked good but we wanted an evening meal. Hubby got a pulled pork dinner- had a big chunk of gristle. The sides he chose were potato salad that was very bland and applesauce ( how can you mess that up). I chose the shrimp stir fry. We enjoyed their chicken alfredo flatbread pizza- hot with fresh ingredients and the thin crust was amazing. The service was on point and there was plenty of staff who all smiled and interacted with you throughout the meal.
