Ordered 1 item to go. Traditional Flapjacks. Took over 45 minutes. My wife and I just sat there like idiots. Wasn’t crowded either. It’s now 4 mishaps at this place. The ladies up front are more frazzle dazzle than output. Done-zo coming to this place and it’s 8 dollar pie slices.

Feb 24 Update: Food consistency is a big issue here. I'm lame and always get the same order. At their best, the food is a 5, but it's rare to get that experience now.Additionally, the wait times are a bit crazy. Funny enough my wife and I have a joke that has yet to be proven wrong - The food here is always opposite the service. So if the service is bad, the food will be amazing and vice versa.----Update: Still great. Wait times have improved and seating expanded. Consistency in food quality has also improved!----Easily one of the best places to eat in town. Food is incredible, staff is super friendly, wait times for food are always reasonable, and it's a very clean and modern facility.

Perfect place to take little children! I just wish they’d bring back their gluten free cinnamon donuts.

Food was fairly bland and they were out of both seasonal items on their menu. My family went here for brunch on my last day visiting back home over the holidays. My girlfriend and I had never been but my parents had before and enjoyed the food. We wanted to get the seasonal pancakes and donuts but they were out of both, the last time my parents went they were out of the seasonal item as well which is disappointing when it’s still listed on their menu. I settled on the chicken biscuit with fries and my girlfriend got the Nashville hot chicken biscuit with the tomato potatoes. The potatoes for both of us were seasoned quite a bit (probably to the point of over seasoned/salted for many people), however once we tried the sandwhich we were left with very little flavor, even on the Nashville hot biscuit which is supposed to have a little kick. I tried some of my mom’s pancakes and they were also very bland, although putting some of the syrup on there added the missing flavor from the pancakes themself. My dad got the breakfast horseshoe for the second time and enjoyed it, the only one I think that truly enjoyed his food. If I do go back I’ll definitely be trying something different, but it will be a hard sell to get me back there when there are other places I know have better tasting food.Kid-friendliness: They have a little play area and plenty of kid friendly food options

Got the breakfast bowl, gingerbread latte, and the Nashville hot sandwich. Everything was really good! Latte has rich flavor. You can tell the food and drinks are made from scratch.

Eat here approximately once a month a little pricey with a limited selection but the breakfast bowl is outstandingly delicious.

What happened? Live out of town and been here twice before and it was so good. Went today for the first time in over a year and my chicken tasted awful. The slaw was one of my favorites last time and this time it was quite literally gross like it had been sitting for a week.. sorry to say I Won’t be back.Response to owners reply:It is not my responsibility to make sure you are serving fresh food. It was far from fresh and my chicken tasted bad. The vegetables in the slaw were definitely not fresh.. not even recent. That was definitely prepared days ago or the vegetables themselves were old. I am not a complainer to someone who serves my food because we are all aware much worse can be done. I don’t find it necessary to leave reviews often, but after an upset stomach and not eating most of my food (other than the potatoes), I found it necessary. There was little care in the quality outside of the food other than presentation and even that is questionable with the dirty silverware. To say it is the same as it was when it was when I went before is far from the truth. I was embarrassed that I suggested this for our lunch yesterday while in town and it was $40 for not even a half eaten lunch for 2.

Purchased 2 pies (ube toffee and pumpkin caramel) for Thanksgiving from three twigs. Spent $40 per pie for half of the pie to only have filling on the bottom inch of the pie with it filled in with cool whip. If I'm going to spend $40 a pie I expect for the whole pie to be filled completely! The pumpkin caramel was worse. Its like they ran out of filling and purposely filled it in with cool whip but since it was both pies like this maybe they are doing in on purpose and ripping people off.The to owners response. I have reached out to you regarding previous issues and the guy that I talked to called me a liar about the way my food was prepared. Also the pies were refrigerated the whole time thank you very much. Also right after I sent that review yesterday I had a piece of your caramel pumpkin pie and I was more irritated than before. The 2 pieces my wife and I had of the caramel pumpkin pie was 90% of your (homemade whipped topping) and pecans. Barely any filling. So how would pumpkin filling melt if that's what you're trying to say even though the only time both pies were not refrigerated were 15 min to drive home. Also when customers post reviews bad or good, you're supposed to 1st off listen and ask questions and not get an attitude. Fix the issue and not call people liars. I guess the guy I spoke to previously was your husband. Just to add. We bought a monster pie to see which pie we liked. Completely different. Both slices were full to the top.

I don’t live in Springfield but I always look forward to visiting Biscuits & Brunch when I’m in town seeing my sister and today we had the breakfast bowl w/ local bacon instead of sausage and it was so freaking yummy, perfect eggs over medium. Obviously we had to try the seasonal pumpkin pecan caramel flapjack stacks (so fluffy!) and I was surprised they weren’t as sweet as I’d expected but tasty nonetheless. I had a homemade pumpkin spice pop tart too for later and it was delightful. We feast when we come here and left very satisfied with all the flavors and full bellies. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I look forward to being back and visiting again.
