A big embarrassment in the capital of Illinois. Food was HORRIBLE not even authentic for our taste. Even the Chicken Nuggets were STORE BOUGHT I could make at home. This place was way too loud and the people helping us were way too quiet for us to understand. No wonder no one wants to eat here, take your business elsewhere if you want a good time and maybe Chef Ramsay could pay a visit.

Place atheistically was drab, I think there needed to be much more pizazz to the place for sure. There was hardly anything special about the inside of it and I pretty much felt I was in any other Mexican restaurant. In my opinion with a unique name and location, I'd expect better considering which side of town it's on.The food was delicious. My family said it was absolutely fantastic and filling and the white cheese was excellent as always! I had two margaritas which were made it a little more golden than I am used too.There were 3 of us who ordered fajitas and they continued to sizzle and burn on the skillet and if you weren't quick enough the food will burn which made me kinda sad...Other than that. We all had a good time (there was 8 of us.) Food was still delicious and we left rolling out of there!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Service is always friendly, welcoming, and quick! Prices are fair and complimentary chips and salsa are always fresh. My usual order is the chimichanga but I've recently tried the nachos and they may be my new favorite thing. Love ordering the margarita tower when I come with friends and there are several flavors to combine and choose from. Decor is fun and lively. Will always recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is directly in front of the restaurant.

Blue Margarita was within walking distance of my hotel and I love Mexican food. Service was prompt, but the staff could speak a bit louder and clearer, especially when there is background noise. The chips and salsa were quickly brought to the table, but the salsa wasn't very spicy. They only had Cholula hot sauce at the table and that seems to add a lot of vinegar to the taste. Ordered the burrito tricolor since it had the basic ground beef, rice, beans and cheese. What I got had more rice and beans as well as lettuce than beef. Didn't see much cheese in it if it had any. It was good, but not what I expected. To step things up a notch, they could add more beef to the burrito, some jalapenos on the side and an optional spicy hot sauce on the table.
