I was in Springfield over the weekend for business and just wanted to give a shout out to a great eating establishment that was recommended to me while I was there.
Charlie Parker's Diner was a surprisingly good experience. They've been featured on a number of local television broadcasts but most famously was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
The food portions were huge, the prices were shockingly low (2 people ate breakfast for less than $25), bottomless coffee that they even fill up a cup to give you to go, and an incredible wait staff (shout out to Amber and especially Gabby).
Charlie Parker's Diner will definitely be my go to breakfast destination whenever I am in town! I just thought I should give them their credit publicly since they made both days of breakfast incredibly enjoyable for me! If you're ever in Springfield, check them out. you'll be glad you did!

Stepping into Charlie Parker's Diner was like stepping back in time. This cozy little spot, tucked away in an unexpected corner of Springfield, was a delightful surprise. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon filled the air, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. I opted for the classic breakfast horseshoe, and it was a revelation. The perfectly toasted bread was piled high with savory sausage, crispy fries, and a generous blanket of creamy cheese sauce. Each bite was an explosion of flavor and texture, and the portion was incredibly generous. But what truly astonished me was the sheer variety of pastries crammed into this little diner.
From towering pancake stacks and amazing stuffed waffles and French toast. They basically made me a stuffed Banana Foster French Toast even though it wasn't on the menu.
Charlie Parker's Diner is a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations. With its delicious food, charming atmosphere, and surprising pastry selection, it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of classic American comfort food.

We were in Springfield for 6 days and 3 of those we visited Charlie Parkers. The food, staff and atmosphere are amazing. TT was our server for 2 of those visits and she is amazing. We will be moving up here next year, and Charlie Parkers will be one of our very regular spots.

We love parkers but man what is it about 9.27.24 at 8.48 fri morning lot was jammed and it looks as though it must be pay day .lots of babys mommas rushing in carrying all the babys in .lookin for daddy's child support..we passed cause it was full but they are really good all around
